Favorite sidekick?

Mine would have to be Daxter from the Jak series. I grew up with him as my hero.( yeah, didn't end up to well.)How about YOU? Oh, and this topic is pretty much search bar approved. Mostly.

Sidekick? Do party members count as sidekicks?

If so I have many favorite party members. Like Bastila Shan, Jolee Bindo, Garrus Vakarian, etc. But they're not really "sidekicks". I'm interested to see what video game sidekicks are posted here because for the life of me I can't think of any character that fits my definition of a "sidekick".

Uhm... that's a toughie. As a Bioware fan there are a lot of party members that I've liked...
One definitely had 'side-kick' written all over him though; Deekin from Hordes of the Underdark.
People either loved or hated him. I think he was hilarious.

.. but seriously, if that doesn't count, the Little Sister from Bioshock. The dog from Fable 2 is quite impressive too though, even though the game itself was shit. I liked it more because it could never die, I never got Dogmeat on Fallout 3 because it could die or get lost, and I can just imagine my face as I see its head get ripped off in front of me.. Q_Q
