Just as the title says, what social media site do YOU think is the best and has the least amount of jack-holes?

For me, Facebook has a decent chat... thing. That's about it >.>

You?

Got to go with Facebook too, but mainly because I don't use anything-else.

The only websites I frequent are Youtube, Deviantart and Escapist. Make of that what you will.

But Failbook is where lots of drama from stupid people can be found! Definitely worth a laugh or two, sometimes. ;D

Twitter, where they don't try the same joke three times and expect people to find it funny. :p

I typically avoid Failbook, too. And Tweeter. But Failbook is an e-book for me about everyone's real world failures. ;D

Facebook is actually quite a good site for keeping in contact with friends who live far away or organising social events, you should try it some time. It's easy enough to avoid the recycled memes and trite posting.

I love me some Twitter.

It really helps just seeing a shortened list of all the news and updates.

Susan Ardent's cute animal posts are sometimes welcome too.

But what if you're someone like me who doesn't WANT "old friends" to find you?

And what exactly is Reddit, anyway? I've heard OF it...

Reddit is like 9Gag. Awful. I've seen some things, man. I've done some stuff. I wouldn't recommend it!

If you don't want to be added by someone, you can ignore a friend request from them easily. The amount of information strangers see can be customised too, if you wish to keep your location, job etc private from "old friends".

I'd rather have some of these "old friends" remain unaware that I'm still alive.

They're, ah, those kinds of "old friends".

I know that kind of old friend. I feel your pain. Although you could always do like my stepdad does. I don't know how he did it, but you can't find his Failbook page unless you make a very specific search. Period.

Facebook, I suppose? I don't really use any other social networks. G+, I suppose, though not regularly...does the Escapist count as a social network (or sorts)? If so, definitely the Escapist; even if you are all bastards. I totally mean that in the kindest way possible.

Google+ is okay. Tumblr has its moments. I'm only ever on Failbook for like, 30 seconds at a time, if that. And I'm always 'offline' as far as the chat's concerned.
