I completed Metal Gear Solid for the first time couple of days ago. And when the credits rolled in...
The opening/main theme of Mass Effect on the menu, and throughout the game, itself- Vigil. Beautiful music.
That and using it in Mass Effect 2 when you met up with old squad members was genius, as well. Literally brings back memories of ME1

The only music I specifically remember from a video game was the sound track to eve online. I think that was more about the whole package then just the song (ambient techno stuff), you had the sound of the engines, the voice of your comp and the visuals adding to the music.

A great song by itself, but it comes at such a perfect time. When you first enter the land of Mexico and are trekking though the landscape for the first time, this song begins playing. It was even more magical for me, since the Sun was setting as I was riding. Absolutely beautiful.

Favorite song is still 'Not Alone' from FF9, it's just...incredible. Tot his day I still consider it the best song in video games and even one of the best songs I have ever heard period. It's total bliss, sadness, hope, strength, and so many other emotions encapsulated into suck a perfect melody.
