Definitely "Happy Times" by Bob Crosby and the Bobcats in Fallout 3. That song is always a pick-me-up when your stranded in the wastes.

Whenever the thought of fallout passes through my thought process is "I don't want to set the world on fire. I just wanna instal a flame in your heart."

I don't know...I really have to go back to the first Fallout for my favorite ("Maybe" by the Ink Spots). It's part of one of the best opening cinematics to a game I've ever seen:

For Fallout 3 it's easily Civilization, I 'effing love anything involving the Andrew Sisters that and Danny Kaye's voice adds so much, but another favorite is Anything Goes for its upbeat tune and Way Back Home because it suits the atmosphere so well. For Fallout New Vegas its a dead tie between Heartaches by the Number because I love the tune of it, Big Iron because Marty Robbins is the only Country star I like, and Jingle Jangle.

But my all time hands down favorite Fallout 3/Fallout New Vegas tune is surprise surprise a tie between Civilization and Anything Goes both are great catchy tunes to listen to and I can't help but sing along when I hear them, and there's nothing better then seeing a super mutants head fly in three directions to the lines 'God knows, anything goes!'. It's rivaled only by the awesomeness and hilarity of flinging frag grenades around to Let's go Sunning.

Butcher Pete is probably my favourite from Fallout 3.

Not sure about New Vegas, partially due to my annoyance that the playlist was so repeated, and partially due to the fact I felt the radio was the only thing that had really gotten worse betwqeen games. With the faction system, I assumed there would be something similar to Fallout 3 with different stations run by different factions.

NCR radio playing the actual soundtrack, Caeser's legion playing military marches, or speeches, and maybe a Mr House station full of other classics, maybe more R&B or early Rock 'n Roll. Instead we got about 1.5 stations (Black mountain is .5), and one soundtrack.

I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire by The Ink Spots from Fallout 3

Civilization by Danny Kaye and the Andrews Sisters from Fallout 3

I hated how the radio stations in New Vegas only had a few songs apiece.

Oh boy, I loved the radio station soundtrack of both games, but if I had to make a top five it'd be
1.Civilization (F3)
2.Anything goes (F3)
3.Big Iron (F:NV)
4.I don't want to set the world on fire (F3, duh)
5.jingle jangle jingle (F:NV)
Those five songs rock!
I second this list but put them all down as equally awesome.

I really don't care for pre r'n'r songs but if I had to choose one from the game I'd say Big Iron is the one that caught my attention the most.

Johnny Guitar takes the atmosphere in New Vegas, and cranks it the hell up to 1000000. It fits everything, wandering the desert wasteland, exploring lonely dungeons and walking around the desperate settlements. Plus the first time I heard it played I was doing the last part of the quest where you send that colony of ghouls into space, and it really struck a chord with me.

Second is either Big Iron or I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire.

Big Iron, nuff said...whenever that comes on, no matter the haunting feeling or the sadness I just nod along happily going A-BANG-BANG-BANG to whatever comes charging my way. Seriously more games could do with a radio, it's one reason why I loved Burnout so much. BAM YOU CRASHED, OH YEAH BOOSTING TO SOME MOSHIN' MUSIC WOO!!!

Blue Moon and Jingle Jangle. And indeed everything from Fallout3's GNR.
