We all have heard a decent amount of stereotypes in the past but was there one that just became your favorite? or even one that is blown way out of proportion?

Mine would be how Canadians are always supposed to say "eh'" at the end of every sentence

I think most stereotypes are bad, even if some are quite correct sometimes.
But favourite? English are posh, polite tea drinkers.

The "Typical Irish Man" stereotype.

Cause' if there's one cliche I can get my head around, it's the one that enables people to drink enough alcohol to kill a small whale.

Probably the flag waving obese xenophobic American stereotype. But seriously, lock inbound if this thread goes the wrong way.

Racially I'd have to say the Irish/Scottish stereotypes, simply becaus I have a bit of both in me and they make for cheap beer jokes.

My absolute favorite would have to be the ones surrounding girls though, simply because I've never seen them proved wrong.

+ potatoes and Catholic

can't forget those potatoes

we need a Welsh person to get in here

but, as the American one is obvious, I will give the Finnish one. Bunch of drunk psychotics praising Satan and listening to metal (no they are like this, I met a drunk and to say goodbye he said "Peace and love...and Satan" while giving the classic rock hand sign thing)

That we (the Dutch) walk around in wooden shoes all day.
It's so retardedly inaccurate that over the years it's slowly become funny.
