Les Miserables. Seen the london production 8 times now and it never gets old. Best Valjean was and still is John Owen-Jones. Saw him play the Phantom too.

I can't decide, it's between The Phantom of the Opera or Wicked, both were absolutely amazing

The Woman in Black.

i first went to see it about 5 years ago. Since that time, i've seen it more times than my sanity should have been able to cope with, since it is without question the scariest thing I've ever seen in my fucking life.

UHm it's annoying but I can't seem remember.

I take it you've seen it aswell?
Indeed I did, on the night Desert Bus finished.

Frantic Assembly are genius.
Ahah quite the memorable night then, I know I watched it at a earlier time but really can't remember where haha.

They truly are.

Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare. Very good.

I still want to see elcor perform Hamlet, though.

Saw Cabaret in high school, it was the best theatrical production I've ever seen. Though the single best experience was walking in to a showing of The Phantom of the Opera and immediately being shocked to see a chandelier hanging over the audience. They really messed with us that night.

Along with everyone else here, I love Rent. I've unfortunately never seen a production of it, but I've seen the movie several times and own the DVD of the final Broadway performance (Haven't watched it, though).

For shows I've actually seen productions of, my favorites are:

Hamlet
The only time I've seen this show was at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon last April, but god damn, that was amazing. The lead was fantastic, as well as the touch of humor that was added to the show. It fit very well, and made it massively entertaining.

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Again, this was at the OSF. The structure of the show is very interesting, as the first two acts are essentially monologues, by Maggie and Brick, respectively; with only the third act having more than two or so characters onstage at once. But it was emotional, daring, and despite the fact that it was mostly just two people talking, very interesting.

Dead Man Walking
Last year, my high school was picked to do a production of Dead Man Walking, Sister Helen Prejean's story about a death row inmate and her attempts to comfort him on his way to the deathbed. Although it was performed entirely by high school students, it was damn good. The lighting, acting, set, and pace were all fantastic, and I'm not just saying that because I was part of the tech crew. It was an amazing show.

Lysastrata. Truly, it has innuendo and comedy at it's finest. I saw it done by the Actors of Dyonisis theatre group who were touring at the time. I believe they still are.

Calumon: Jack won't take me. He says I'll cause a scene on my own. I thought that was the point?

I saw a production of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and it was really good. Me and my friend freaked out because the main actor who was Jekyll had a small, unspecified part in My Bloody Valentine.

A Little Night Music is my favourite, but I like most things by Sondheim.

The Musical of Musicals: The Musical is pretty good too.

Jesus Christ Supserstar... why? because half of the people that played Jesus looked like Kurt Cobain in a robe...<.<

I was just waiting for Smells Like Teen Spirit to start playing...
Also the movie version was The Passion of Christ meets Mad Max...

I've heard good things about Our American Cousin, but I've never really heard how it ended.
Brilliant joke, good sir, simply brilliant...
I had five bucks and a penny on "nobody will get this joke."
