I just discovered the most hilarious weapon in AC Brotherhood: A broom. It works just like any of the heavy weapons (axe, mace, spadone, etc.), but looks more innocent. The icing on the cake? There's an achievement for killing a guard with it. Made the comedic impact (and it was an impact, I laughed for at least forty five seconds) even more powerful.

So this got me thinking, what other silly but useful objects/weapons are there in gaming?

All the spoof weapons in Tales of Symphonia. They're the best weapons that you can buy and there's only one set of weapons that are better. They're pretty awesome though, one is a tambourine, another is a pair of money bags, one is a pink plastic dagger, a broom, and more.

I spent about an hour going nuts with a broom in AC2, but for some reason it never let me pick them up in Brotherhood. Damn.
In Drakan: The Ancient's Gates (PS2 game, surprisingly good), there was a weapon that had a miniscule chance of spawning at the weapons merchant - a rubber chicken. I seem to recall it being the most powerful weapon in the game. Nice juxtaposition with the rest of the game, which was pretty dark.
