Favorite Video Game Soundtracks.

Pretty self explanitory. Whats your favorite video game soundtrack?

My vote is for Kingdom Hearts' soundtrack as a series. Few songs can make me emotional, and that soundtrack has a few of those songs.

Starcraft, and Fire Emblem. Mainly Fire Emblem. I love all of the songs that are played, in nearly all of them.

Halo's soundtrack is amazing. I love it theme song.

Gears 2 soundtrack was pretty good. (My username is based on one of its songs)

Yeah I like the soundtrack to lots of games. One piece I like in particular is from Portal.


Really sets the mood for the game.

It's weird. I've heard multiple people say gears has a good soundtrack, but no matter how many times I play it I never pay attention to the music. It just seem to ignore it.

Halo, Fable, The Last Ninja, Xenon 2, MGS4 and Mass Effect are the only games that have made me sit up and take notice of the soundtrack.

M4 Part II by Faunts, which is played at the end of Mass Effect is my favorite bit of music featured in a game.

Mega Man 9 has an absolutely bitchin'[i/] soundtrack. It's all classic 8-bit goodness, and it sounds all the better today because of it.

Other than that, the Portal and Half-Life soundtracks are pretty sweet. Also a big fan of the music in Castle Crashers, Fable, Oblivion, Mass Effect, Bionic Commando: Rearmed, Metroid Prime, Persona 4 and nearly any Command and Conquer game.

Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles have got the best videogame soundtracks of all time.
Even since the age of 3 years old, I still have the Flying Battery Zone and the Crystal Palace themes in my head. So, catchy, so haunting, so beautiful.
-Edit- Also the Harry Gregson Williams rendition of Metal Gear Solid's theme, still sends chills down my spine.

Thats probably one of the greatest game songs I've ever heard.

So simple, yet if just works perfectly.

I like Blazblue's soundtrack. So many tunes filled with awesome on there. Jin's theme, Lust Sin, has to be my favorite.

Quite partial to the soundtracks of Kingdom Hearts, Persona 3 & 4 and the Tales of series, especially Abyss and Vesperia.

Lol, nothing wrong with that. She has a beautiful voice; I have some of CDs as well.

I absolutely ADORE the ODST sounrack, this has got to be O'Donnells best work yet, i have about 20 songs of it on my playlist.
