I like Blazblue's soundtrack. So many tunes filled with awesome on there. Jin's theme, Lust Sin, has to be my favorite.

Quite partial to the soundtracks of Kingdom Hearts, Persona 3 & 4 and the Tales of series, especially Abyss and Vesperia.

Here's my favorite piece of music from a game. Persona 3's ending song, Kimi no Kioku. (Memories of You in English)

You have a great taste in music.

Every Final Fantasy has its moments, but the music for the road to Zanarkand in FFX is pretty awesome. It fits the mood really well.
Hyrule Field (both OoT and TP) and Great Sea (Wind Waker) manage that too.

My favourite soundtrack of all time, however, is that of the Japanese/European version of Sonic CD. The music for the different time zones of any given level are all variations on the same theme - and all convey what the different time periods are like (past has more of a retro feel, good future always manages to sound quite idyllic, etc).

Oh and I almost forgot...

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts had a wonderful soundtrack. They remade several of the games' old catchy songs and mixed them with brand new songs.

Gears 2 had some pretty sweet atmospheric songs along with Call of Duty/Call of Duty: United Offensive.

But the best? No contest. Tony [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgQ7qOCDFYQ] Hawk [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9e5cqe_JE0Q] Pro [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHzpSmDrrfg] Skater [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAe3NxFx44E] 3 [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMnLIJSY1vY]. That game was incredible and had some great songs on it.

Any of the Persona games, though I'm leaning towards 3 though 4 has my favorite opening song. Also Castlevania:portrait of Ruin loved Crucifix held Close and Invitation to a Crazed Moon.

I've almost always enjoyed the Sonic Soundtracks, from every game. Except the main theme for Secret Rings... I couldn't stand that.

I've found that Command and Conquer, Red Alert 3 had a lot of good music in it, and sounded absurdly epic.

I love just about everything from the Persona 3, Blazblue, and Final Fantasy VII OST's, especially the final boss themes, The Battle For Everyone's Souls, Awakening the Chaos, and One-Winged Angel, respectively. Good ol' ominous Latin chanting.

Kingdom Hearts has a pretty epic soundtrack, too.

Thanks. I take pride in the music I listen to. :D

May as well take this opportunity to post songs from those other games.

Heaven is Persona 4's best track IMO.

Gonna go with Dearly Beloved from Kingdom Hearts 2.

And the original version of Karma from Tales of the Abyss as my favorite track from a Tales of game.

I'm going to have to go back and play Gears 2 again because a lot of people are saying it has a good soundtrack. I can't remember hearing it over the clatter of semi-automatic weapons and revving of chainsaws. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

pretty much anything Uematsu has composed
Is that even worth mentioning? It just seems so obvious that it's common knowledge - grass is green, the sky is blue, Uematsu's music is amazing. Isn't that taught in kindergarten or something?
