Since you can't swing a dead baby around these parts without hitting some variation on "what's your favorite video game weapon?" threads, I thought I'd change things up a little and talk about what gives those weapons their personality: The accompaning animations. Anything from an idle revolver twirl to a 47 hit katana combo.
For me, it's the reloading motion of the RPG in the Half Life games. There's just something inherintly satisfying to me in stuffing a rocket down that big tube and pointing it slowly at poor asshole with the bad luck to be the target.
