For actors i have Hugh Laurie, Heath Ledger (RIP), and Will Smith and how could i forget Edward Norton (doh!). Favorite actresses are Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Anisten

Aye, I think if anything overexposure has spoilt their careers. Really the three of them alone could be quoted endlessly for hours. For a great british ensemble cast though you can't beat Hot Fuzz. My God, when I first watched it I was like "oh look its, oh over theres etc" really great cast.
Nathan Fillion, Edward Norton, Bruce Campbell, Kurt Russell, to name a few. There's a lot of serious kick ass actors but these are the ones that spring straight to mind.
Yeah. HF somehoe managed to make every character great, something pretty rare these days. The British are generally very good at ensemble casts.Adam Jenson said:

For actors, I say Morgan Freeman or... I dunno, I tend to really like Samuel L. Jackson.
For actresses, um... uh... hrm... I don't really know, so I'll have to go with the movie in my "Best Movies in the Universe" that has a female lead; Andie McDowell. (The movie is Harrison's Flowers, and you should watch it, because it is awesome.)

For actors, I'm tied between Kurt Russel, Samuel L Jackson and the Almighty Bruce "Jesus Christ" Campbell. I don't like many actresses. Kate Winslet is alright I guess.
Morgan Freeman. If god came down to earth, he should appear as morgan freeman dressed in all white with light shining around him, as people would probably accept that a little easier, cause of his role in the almighty series.
Male: Sir Sean Connery, Hugh Laurie, and Sir Anthony Hopkins (I think he was knighted...).
Female: Uma Thurman (Poison Ivy, I don't care for Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction was alright.)
