I was watching lots of anime lately and was wondering what your favorite scene in a anime or cartoon.

Mine is Katekyō Hitman Reborn when Tsuna is trapped in a place with no air and about to pass out.
He then sees visions of past Vongola Boss sins. Shortly after they appear before him and offer him power to save his life if only if he chooses to inherit their sins. He refuses with his last breath saying that if he is going to surpass these sin hell destroy the Vongola. The rest will be explained in the videos.

Out of all 3 videos it is about 11min
Hear is the video in better detail
Skip to 3:00 for part 2
Last part watch till 3:00

I really like this scene from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood episode 27: "Interlude Party". It begins at 19 minutes, 43 seconds, in case this video didn't embed properly.
It features Van Hoenheim expressing his doubts in the ability of weak, frail human beings to stand against things as strikingly evil and powerful as Father and the Hommunculi that follow him. It takes his wife Trisha (or rather, Hoenheim's memory of her) to remind him that humanity's relative weakness is precisely what makes it powerful, and that this is reason enough to stand up and fight. The scene is really quite poignant. Of course, the entire series is poignant, but this scene in particular stands out because it focuses on Hoenheim, who we later learn is really the catalyst of the entire series, and thus the guiltiest of them all.

Of course, it doesn't hurt that the scene was set to Miko Fukahara's "Let It Out", one of the best themes in of the series.

You're all using dramatic scenes, so I'll counter with a funny one. Besides, this is my favorite scene of all time.

Favorite scene? Hmmm thats a tough one. I watch a lot of anime so I don't have actual favorite scene.

I'm tempted to post a scene from Steins;Gate and one from Clannad, but after considering that they are immense spoilers, I'll refrain from posting those, because I know people will click spoiler tags anyway.

...Aaaaand I can't find the video I wanted to post; from Bakemonogatari episode 2, the scene where Hitagi comes out of the shower to "Show off her body".

Legendary I tell you.

I guess I have to bring in the Western Cartoons.

Batman trumps all, even when he's an 18 year old. I don't care who you are, good ole' fisticuffs beat giant robots.
Also, this one comes a close second, for different reasons.

Orihime's goodbye to Ichigo from Bleach. It's scenes like this that remind me why I love the show so much. The culmination of her character's incredible growth ever since her return from Soul Society.

From ef~ A Tale of Memories and A Tale of Melodies:

I love how both these scenes start out tragic and then takes a hard turn into crazy.

In Bleach, when Ichigo and Renji are fighting Aizen in the Soul Society, and Aizen stops Ichigo's sword with his finger, and the happy battle music just cuts. It's so abrupt. I find it hilarious.

The scene in Avatar: The Last Airbender that is dedicated to the death of Mako, Iroh's voice actor at that time.
