Title says it all, is there a certain antagonist that you favour? Maybe even like?

Tell us who they are and why.

Mine? Zakhaev, because nothiong says "I'm a man" like an eyepatch, a leather jacket, one missing arm, a couple of nukes and a russian accent.

I rather like Claud Frolo, from The Hunchback of Notre Dame (book, not movie and especially not the god-awful Disney cartoon). I've always liked villains who are really good people who make mistakes and Frolo is probably the best example of this. He's the ideal tragic villain.

Pyramid Head. He scares the utter crap out of me just by walking by. I'm not James Sunderland though, so I should be safe.

Standard answer:

Understated snark, great backstory, and undeniably badassery.

Oh, and kempo skills, voiced by Jouji Nakata, and
sustained by the manifestation of all the world's evil.

Googled! Good to see Bitores Mendez could get work after RE4.

I liked Thomas Magruder from Gun. Also Tenpenny from GTASA. And let's not forget dear old Doc Breen from HL2.

The first that comes to mind is Barnes from Platoon. Not only is his scarred face totally bad-ass, but he is one of the scariest villains I've seen in a movie or a book.

It's a tie between Sephiroth, Darth Vader and Pyramid Head for me.

Revolver Ocelot. I like the rivalry that him and Snake have throughout Metal Gear Solid 3.

SHODAN, she can take over my world any day!

Well... no, not really since she'd just kill me ruthlessly no doubt after a few seconds mocking, but still. As far as high-tech villainy goes she's the best o the best and for a disembodied discombobulated voice is surprisingly hot.
