Fallout 3 is definitely without question the best and most fulfilling game I have ever played, and I will hazard a guess that most Escapists have played Fallout 3 one time or another, so this is a thread to discuss your favourite Fallout 3 ,moment(s)!
My first great moment would have to be finally collecting all the archives from the spaceship in mother ship zeta, then shorty after reaching level 30 to get all 1550G.
My second was very unpredictable as well as funny for the people I was in a party with at the time (I have a 360). I had not played the game for months and had just started a new game for fun. I had reached the Super Duper mart, walked round the corner to find a very angry Deathclaw waiting for me (bearing in mind I was only Lvl 3 and on Very Hard difficulty). No surprise I died. I reloaded a save and went back down, walked round the corner again to find another random encounter in the shape of a Giant Radscorpion. I died for a second time. I reloaded my save a third time, went back down to find another nasty creature, this time a Yao Guai. I then died for a third time. You know the drill I walked back down to find a group of Hitmen... although I put up a good fight I did eventually reach my 4th death. Now this all in itself is very unlucky, but silly me thinking it was all over decided to give it one last try. For the fifth time, I walked down, went round the corner only to find A SECOND DEATHCLAW!! Only this time its legs had been crippled from a previous battle, so I managed to have an easy time killing it, and got its hand as a prize. Needless to say I then saved and turned off the console.
