For added discussion value: Should we classify things as fruits/vegetable/berries based on the common gut feeling, or on the scientific definition? For instance, bananas, kiwis and tomatoes are per definition berries, but we usually call these fruits. Which term is correct?
What is this berry class you speak of?(I though they were only things that had berry in their name, not bananas and tomatoes)

OT:
Fruit: Melons(not the female ones, the eatable ones)

Berry: Strawberries(I could eat them till I die of eating disorder)

Vegetable: If you go with the culinary definition(I know I do; because when I cook I ask a chef, not a scientist or chemist; although in intellectual discussions I use the scientific classification) I really love tomatoes; if not cucumber.

And my weapon will be pineapple suppositories. It takes while to get the other person wore down to the point I can use them, but they are very effective once in place.

I think I read in a book that all "fruits" that have more than one seed are actually berries.
I give no guarantees though.

My favorite vegetable is.....eggplant.
It's not a plant and it doesn't lay eggs, it's an aubergine. Also technically it's a berry (see you learn something new every day). I know I sound like an arse but the word 'eggplant' is a pet hate of mine, not sure why.

Favourite fruit: banana
Favourite vegetable: potato
favourite berry: grape (yes a grape is a berry)

My rule of thumb:
If you can eat it as an appetiser/in between meals, it's a fruit.
If it's good with dressing, it's a vegetable.
If it's a berry... I don't quite care, because here we don't have a large variety of berries(usually from import)
And if I'm not sure what it is, I just eat it and think how good it tastes, and classify it as
Wow that's great=berry
Great=Fruit
Good=vegetable
Bad=shit

Yes, but they have to be inside the fruit. Things like blackberries have individual ones in pods, so isn't actually a berry, and strawberries have them outside. I remembered that from QI, but I can't remember what the names of them are if they're not berries. But I'll just recognize them from what I was originally taught =P

Maybe we could all just go with the definition "if it's tiny, it's a berry"

Hahaha, I never even thought of the reference! I just thought of the most painful way you could use a pineapple as a weapon.

Berry: Strawberry
Vegetable: Potato or Green Beans
Cheese: Flower of Rajya. I've only had it once, but I would kill for more.
