Morrowind for too many reasons to list. It was also the game that got me into fantasy role playing.
Have you been playing all Elder Scrolls? :)

Im torn between Silent Hill Series and The King of Fighters 2002

Silent Hill was one of the first (maybe the second after Parasit Eve) that really trapped me in the Playstation era, I loved the graphic design, audio direction, its horror, etc.

On the other hand I started being a gamer on arcades playing the Capcom fighting games (X-me, Marvel Superheroes, Street Fighter Alpha and all the VS) and after that I stardet playing KOF (Starting with KOF 99, I didn't like previous ones). A group of friends and I have been playing it since came out. I like the level of strategy it has, there are characthers with more power than others but there isn't one undefetable and we are still learning stuff after all these years. We sometimes invite players from other cities to have a tournament and we have a lot of fun.

Mass Effect. It was the first game I played on my 360. I honestly didn't think I'd like it, imagining myself to me more of a fantasy RPG girl, but I absolutely adored it. Everything in the game feels huge and important. Jumping in for another playthrough is always exciting.

Silent Hill 1 for the PS1.

It has a better atmosphere and story than anything I've played before or since. It's brilliant, I've played it through umpteen times and it can still scare me, and it does more within its graphical limitations than AAA games do within their graphical limitations TODAY.

Perfect from start to finish. A masterpiece of interactive entertainment.
Gush Gush Gush.

Super Mario: Sunshine.

It made me feel like I was on holiday 24/7 and still does and that makes me happy.
Happy is good when a game makes you feel it.

Or, just to be a dick and pick another game, 'Rodents Revenge'
Huh, anybody?

Thanks dude ^_^ did you know that they are bringing Resi 4 to the Xbox live Marketplace sometime? :D dont know if you have an xbox but yeah XD Resi 4 was by far the best out the whole series for me, even though it isnt "zombies" its las plagus, its still awesome! :D
Oh seriously? That's awesome. I actually bought a 360 mostly to play Resident Evil 5. I really enjoyed it, but it still can't even compare to RE4.

I need to go buy some Microsoft points...

OT: soo much, but it would be a tie between MGS:Snake eater and Shadow of The Colossus! One of my first games on the PS2 (my first console),both have beautiful graphics, awesome gameplay,SoTC has a better story(MGS is 2 complicated)but i think that SoTC wins this one, that game made me feel like a real child again, and MGS made me feel like a hereo, like a solider or whatever P.S. It was my first game with guns lol xD
I just started Shadow of the Collosus at my girlfriend's behest. People had described it as a semi-platformer so I was a little leery of it (I am just no good at platformers. The last level of Psychonauts just killed me to death) but I'm on the last Collosus and I have loved just everything about the game. The story is... well, let's say I don't want any spoilers at this point, but I'm pretty sure I know how this is going to go down.

What's your favorite Collosus? Mine is probably the turtle in the hotsprings. It was so immersive that I literally felt my heart speed up when his eyes started glowing and I knew that I was going to have to run as fast as I could if I didn't want to get blown off my horse with rocket-eye-lasers.

PS: Agro just died! Waaaaah! He was mah only friend!

Banjo Tooie is my all time favourite because it ticks every box that I can think of for a good game.

1. Fun
2. Endearing characters
3. Imaginative
4. Good level design
5. Varied gameplay
6. Humour
7. Good camera control
8. Yellow-fuckin'-shorts

Plus, I'd say it can easily take the title as best game sequel ever. The game starts with EVERYTHING from the previous title and was built on from there. Not like other games where you end the game with a million billion magical spells or super powered weapons then start the next game with absolutely nothing to your name (read: the Zelda effect).

Banjo Tooie starts with every ability from the previous game and adds in twice as many new ones including fine tuning to previous abilities. The graphics improved, the game world was bigger and more diverse and most of the characters from the previous game returned. World exploration became more rewarding as you could discover new hidden abilities i.e. the breegull bash or dragon kazooie.

Plus, it was a Rare title from the N64 era of Rare. Amongst a stellar list of titles like Jet Force Gemini, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, Conkers Bad Fur Day, Donkey Kong 64, Diddy Kong Racing and Blast Corps, Banjo Tooie more than holds itself up.

Basically... Banjo Kazooie was a masterpiece and Banjo Tooie took everything from the previous game that worked and added hundreds of other things.

I could rant about this game for ages, which I kind of have done already.

Yellow for me (It's the only one I have completed, although i'm currently playing through Pokemon Black)

OT: Half Life 2, absolutely groundbreaking for it's time, still looks good 5/6 years on.
Also, Counter Strike: Source. Endless hours of fun with my friends on that... loved it to bits, biggest addiction I have ever had for a game.

Sweet Home.
Combining Survival Horror (Which was new at the time, 1989, never was tried until Alone in the Dark and Haunted House came along), Action, And the JRPG Genre was the best move Capcom made, EVER. And it trimmed down on grinding alooooot.

I've had the Reproduction Cartridge for as long as I can remember.
