Impossible Creatures and Blood.

Impossible Creatures is an RTS where you combine animals to make genetic mutation creatures that fight each other. Unit balance doesn't exist in the game - you make your own units. Speed, defense, attack, special abilities...
My favorite units:
Tigobster: main battle unit - head and front and back legs of a tiger, torso and middle legs, tail and claws of a lobster.
Scorpiophant: the 'tank' unit - head, front and back legs of an elephant, claws, armored torso and tail of a scorpion.
Chameleagle: stealth air support - head and torso of a chameleon, wings, tail and claws of an eagle.

I played Chromehounds and HoMaM to death back in the day. I was truly saddened by chromehounds online problems. It was an absolutely awesome game, and I'm a sucker for mechs.

I really like an indie game called Beat Hazard. It's a twin stick shooter that uses your own music collection to decide enemies and your weapon strength. really a lot of fun and usually very cheap on steam.

It's very recent but I really loved playing Tomb Raider and the Guardian of Light with my best mate.

I really don't think it got the coverage it deserved.

I loved that game, but I could never remember what it was called..... Thanks for reminding me, one of the first X-box games I played if I remeember rightly, but I never owned it, just played it round a friends.

Loved Avalon Code. Juggling enemies into high orbit was always a blast, especially if you manage to get a boss up there. And I agree, it was like nothing I've ever played.

Zatacka. Either the DOS version or the 360 one (for all its quirks and bugs). Easily the most enjoyable multiplayer game to grace a screen. If only more people would be willing to risk it, they'd find their lives enriched.

It's probably not as obscure as some of the other games in this thread, but it has been so overshadowed by the praise and love that Goldeneye gets that I never hear anyone mention it. Great multiplayer with bots.

Yes! Me and my cousin played the Multi player of that constantly, The guided missles where the tits!

As my for my choice, Its got to be the Lost Kingdoms series!

Erm. road Trip Adventure, for the PS2 was a fantastic game. It seems like everything about it was built to appeal to me. Lovely game.

I love those games and haven't really met anyone else who has played them, at least as much as I have.

I hear you, I played Heroes V for a long time, and III even more; I still consider III to be the best in the series.
And The LOTR BFME were really good too; only a few RTS keep me interested and I finished all of those games in a short time. The expansion packs were great too.

I would have to choose Syberia as my favorite game that not many people played. And it is my favorite game period.
