Kirby Air Ride. There should've been a sequel. Surely I'm not the only one that thinks so.
great game I actually got every achevment in city trial and over 50% of the top ride and air ride. First time I played it I rented it went over to my buddys house and we played free run mode for 8 hours straight just finding bases hiding cars and attacking eachother and exploring.
I managed to get all of the City Trial achievements, but didn't pay much attention to Air Ride and Top Ride. City Trial was by far my favorite mode, and I wish it could have been expanded upon in a sequel.

I also had many great times in Free Run with my cousin and brother. We'd race to get any vehicles we could into "bases" (such as the volcano, cliffs, or on top of city hall) and then start to attack each other. So much fun.

Man, I loved the GameCube. I don't care what anyone says; the GC is awesome.

The Wind Waker, Eternal Darkness, Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion... There are several great games for it.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance has superb writing and characters, and while it isn't the hardest in the series, it is in my opinion the best, and has more than enough replay value for multiple playthroughs. I discover something new every time I play it.

Baten Kaitos Origins is just amazing (not to be confused with Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean, which I personally think is deep fried awful). Origins boasts a fast-paced innovative battle system, creative and colorful visuals, and some of the best writing I've ever seen, story wise and especially for the three main characters, who all act like real people and have their own secrets and depths without ever getting too wrapped up in themselves. It's truly a gem, and I wish more people played it.

I also adore The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, but I probably don't need to justify those as much.

Lost Kingdoms 1 and 2! Seriously, so few people have played these games but there just so much fun! I revisit them every once and a while.

And Starfox Adventures, The world still looks great even by today's standards.

Just because my friend says it all the time and it really irritates me, it's Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, not Sonic Adventure Battle 2.

Anyway, OT, I'm always astounded when I hear people say they didn't like the Gamecube. It had all the great Nintendo staples, (Mario Zelda Metroid StarFox etc.) and it had some fantastic new IPs like Pikmin, Viewtiful Joe, Killer 7, and Eternal Darkness. Metroid Prime was probably my favorite, with Melee coming in close second.

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, is obviously at the top of my list. It is my top favorite Zelda game.

Smash Bros. of course.

I had about 20 or so games for the thing, most were those 20 dollar bin deals that Wal-Mart had back in the day, basically Nintendo's version of "platinum hits".

I don't remember playing it more than once, but I had great fun with Luigi's Mansion.

I also played Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3 practically to death.

Same with Tony Hawk's Underground.

I also really loved the True Crime games. Those games that today wouldn't see the light of day on the Wii, definitely not "kid friendly". Especially not True Crime: New York, practically every other word out of all the pedestrians' mouths was "fuck", even the times when I was being a good police officer and not messing around blowing off random peoples' limbs while duel wielding Desert Eagles.

Edit: I almost forgot Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

Besides the really obvious ones, Eternal Darkness was probably my favorite. One more obscure one that I really liked was Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, a surprisingly good GC port of a PC game.

It seems that I'm one of the few people that I know that plays/played Gamecube. What the hell..?
So, I'm asking you guys, what it your favourite Gamecube game.
Mine is Sonic Adventure Battle Two, In my mind, the last good Sonic game.
It would be so easy to say F-Zero GX, or Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, or Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. Except that a little studio on the outskirts of Austin toiled for years, under the occasional supervision of Miyamoto-san himself, and came out with a little game called Metroid Prime.

Still holds up to this day. In fact, I'm about to enter a thread called "can retro games hold up without nostalgia?" and use Prime as an example.
