Favourite gaming Magazine

What is your favourite gaming magazine to read.

I like reading GamesTm, which is a multi format magazine here in the UK. The reviews are unbiased, and it has some great features including a huge part dedicated to retro gaming.

I also like buying Retro Gamer as well, but it's quite expensive for the amount of content you get, so I like to get the huge handbooks when they come out which has the best parts of the magazine. I have about seven of them, including both volumes of the hardware handbook which go through nearly every console, handheld and home computer ever made in great detail.

Anything that's not exclusive to a particular console. I hate Official Xbox Magazine or PSM or PC Gamer, they just help populate the internet with fan-boys. Electronic Gaming or Game Informer are okay though. Personally I don't see the point in subscribing to any of them while I'm already subscribing to The Internet.

It was an older magazine, out of print for a few years now, called GMR Magazine. It was kind of like the old episodes of X-Play, mixing crude humor and game reviews together.

The Escapist! Seriously, there aren't a lot of gaming magazines that are sold here, so I roam the Web to read interesting stuff. And that's where the Escapist comes to play. Articles and news and all that. So yeah.

Mine would be Game Informer. Their articles are pretty interesting and well writen, and their reviews are good as well. I also really like their reactions to people complaining about the magazine.

None, just Meristation which is online, but when I was a kid I used to read Club Nintendo.

I like to read PC Gamer.

I find it entertaining to read and it also does give reveiws of PC games and MMO's that I've heard about and wonder if they're any good (Such as back when I was intrested in The Old Republic MMO I got my first information about it sucking from PC Gamer and got it confirmed by friends that Beta tested it later)

It also does some really funny stuff such as "The Spy" and stories from the team about a game they were playing recently.

I did read a bit from an Xbox magazine at one point as my friend worked on it, but my lack of intrest in my Xbox 360 and any of its exclusives made me drift away from it.

For online, it's the Escapist. For material magazines, it would be PC Gamer, despite my main game-playing machine being a 360. I just find it to be solid, weighty, relatively trustworthy, and just a good zine overall.

I usually read Game Reactor, a free Norwegian gaming magazine.
You can find it in most games and electronics stores.

Other than that I read The Escapist and Game.no.
