Favourite Gang

Simple really, which is your favourite gang or organisation in a game?

I've been playing Saints Row 2 (somewhat obsessively) this weekend. And while i was endlessly fretting over my walk and style and precisely how i wanted my Gang to Look and Act i wondered about which Gang was my favourite. I will always have a soft spot the GSF but the No 1 spot has to go to Russian Mafia in Mercs.

The Saints. They have ninja's. You can't beat ninja's. And they can act semi serious. And can dress like pimps. I'm sorry, I just can't see any game in the near future or past being able to pass that.

I didn't really count The Saints, they're too customisable.

The Rastafari gang from GTA... 3.. I think? Maybe it was San Andreas, I never finished either of them.

The PMC you run in Mercs 2. They have an Irish guy who nicks things / taxis you round, a drunken Eastern Bloc fighter pilot who managed to sleep through an armoured company shelling the place (the Smurnof he was holding probably helped), an Ozzie who does your computer dealies and then the boss. The boss is either a truly awesome Viking with cool tats, or a smart-arse British woman who becomes really awesome when you unlock the Tactical outfit (just because it looks good).

I know there's a third guy, but he's useless compared to Matias - he's just a token Black guy. Mui isn't much better, but at least she looks cool.

I would have said AVALANCHE from FF7, despite the fact their technically criminals they were a sort of gang, but then I remembered they called themselves an organization or something. Instead I'll sell out and say Grove St from San Andreas.

Umm you sure it wasn't vice city? i seem to remember some voodoo women serving you drugged teas and getting you to do her violence for her.
