Movie: well damn, I don't really watch movies with heroes per se so I'm going to go with Ray from In Bruges.
in bruges was one of the most depressing movies i've ever seen...
Personally I thought it was hilarious. That may have just been that particular rant about how much of a c*** he is and then the whole kid thing. I was crying.
okay yeah, that part was pretty effing hilarious.
'if i grew up on a farm, and was retarded, bruges might impress me but i didn't, so it doesn't.'

Book: The fat one, Sam, and the dwarf who kills his father, from George R.R. Martin's series A Song of Ice and Fire. Why? Obsidian or crossbows makes anything badass.
:
Movie: None. What movie shows internal thought processes and deep personality traits?
:
Comic: Deadpool. Why? Katanas. If you disagree, imagine me yelling "KATANAS!" every time you start to argue.
:
Game: Oblivion's main character. Because it was me. And who doesn't want to be themselves as an Argonian?
(Answer: Emos. But nobody cares about them :p

Pfft he thinks its drepressing because there is a lot of contrast between you and the background. You sorta look like you are stretching as you wake up or something.

Personally I hated Argonians and Khajiit from Oblivion and Morrowind. Dirty slaves!
Actually my hate stems from the fact that they are useless as anything but theives and Bosmer are probably better at that anyway.

Movie: Broken Sword - Jet Li Hero
Comic: Dr Manhattan - Watchmen
Anime: Guts - Berserk
Game: Prince Of Persia

Those are my favorite characters that can at least be positioned around anti hero because there are not a lot of heroes I find particularly deep or interesting

Overall: Kamen Rider Kabuto. He is the best there is. He sticks to his guns and is able to overcome a lot of pain and sadness to become even stronger.

Walking the path of Heaven... He is the one who will rule over all.

Comic: Guess. Cookie for anyone who gets it right.
Clifford the Big Red Dog?

EDIT-
Crap I forgot to list mine.
Book-Right now I have to say Shadow from "American Gods"
Comic-either Batman or John Constantine(anti-hero technically, but it's my list.)
Movie-Han Solo, Mal Reynolds, Jayne Cobb, and Luke Skywalker in ROTJ are having a cage match in my head for the top spot.
Game-Either the frog in "Frogger" or the Exile from KOTOR 2.

I just wiki'd John Constantine and spent two hours going through links, ending up on The Book of Revelations somehow.

God I love Wikipedia!

Book: Seeker of Patterns (Beyond Infinity) The entire book is underrated, but Seeker is badass and probably my favourite hero ever.

Movie: Obi Wan Kenobi (Star Wars) He's a cool jedi, and he put up with the three most annoying people in the series. (Anakin, Jar Jar, and Luke)

Comic: Kyon (The Melancholy of Haruhi) He's a great antihero really. (Batman is fine too)

Game: Revan (KotOR) He's not as much of a real character as a personification of my ideal video game character, sue me.
