Dear Esther, Korsakovia, The Path.

And Every Day The Same Dream. It's really that FREE YOUR MIND kind of thing.

Minecr..... Hmm...

Mordor: The Depths of Dejenol.

Never heard of it? Can't blame you. On the one hand its a huge game. On the other hand its extremely indie to the point that basically no one knows about it.

It's about 2 parts text RPG, to 1 part GUI. Looks exactly like it was put together in Visual Basic, and I think it probably was.

Even still. Great game. I spent hundreds of hours on that game when I was younger. Kind of embarassing now, but it was great in the day.

Don't really want to play it again though. I might realise its not very good and ruin memories.

AI War: Fleet Command

Best RTS Game I have played.
(Although it's actually a RTS 4X hybrid).
I HIGHLY recommend this to any RTS or 4X fan.

Hammerfight.

Seriously, that's a great one. I mean Braid is obligatory, but Hammerfight is just...Out there, man.

Interstellar Marines?

Or if the game has to be released already then I'd go Mine- Ha, no I wouldn't. It was not worth my $10.

I don't really have any favorite indie games, I love a whole lot of them. Interesting platformers with cool mechanics like Braid or Knytt or N.

I also liked Tag: The Power of Paint and thought it was awesome that Valve bought the team or paid them for their ideas and are using them in Portal 2.

Actually I gotta say probably my favorite was Knytt. I just fell in love with the music...

EDIT: And THIS ONE: http://www.kongregate.com/games/Rete/dont-shit-your-pants

Caster. Look it up on Steam, it's pretty good. You run about and shoot things, and then proceed to enhance your running and shooting skills.

Since I can't say Minecraft, I'll throw some love to Gish. I'm sad that I'm the first one to mention it, it's an awesome game.
