NPC = Non Playable Character

SO which is your favourite, they have to make a bit of an impact like not a one off thing you see them every so often in the game.

Personnally I am going to say Joker. Mainly because of this line in the first game

"CRACK it's very dramatic"
But also because seth green voices it. I always enjoy his stuff, like robot chicken.

EDIT: Found out someone did a post like this. The only thing I can say is this includes both games.

I mean, there's one scene where you get to play as him.

That's only one scene, and he was never playable in Mass Effect 1, so yeah it counts I think.

So that explains why I've never catastrophically failed when I use them on missions! (You know, aside from general 'Leroy Jenkins' gameplay, which I am slowly breaking myself of).

Shouldn't NPC mean people who aren't in your squad? Sure you don't "assume direct control" of them, but you can tell them where to take cover and when to use their powers.

Shouldn't NPC mean people who aren't in your squad? Sure you don't "assume direct control" of them, but you can tell them where to take cover and when to use their powers.

Mine are too busy firing their biotics and tech at random geth troopers when under fire by a geth prime, that they are pretty much NPCs to me. I know I could take full control of their power usage, but they are quite efficient in smaller fights.

OT: The "biotic god" in ME2. Because he is awesome.

Garrus and Tali, they ARE my friends "Spoiilers" (and lovers in Tali's case) i actually found myself, using and finding it natural to say the "are you sure?" with her. Garrus is my best friend, as soon as I started ME2 and heard abourt Archangel I knew it was Garrus and I needed my best friend back. I've used the 2 of them almost exclusively for both games, and even found myself worrying if the mission ahead sounded a little to dangerous, and sending Tali out at the end scared me, would she be ok, but I new who i could trust and that was my friends. I think thats why any other shepard beside mine feels so wrong, not because it is not me, but because me and my shepard are the ones who have been friends and been to heel and back with my best friend Garrus and my future wife Tali (please Bioware, test the boundaries of gaming, i want to see just how emotionally attatched I could get to a virtual creation, you know for science . . . you monsters)

No doubt about that. I liked Kal and Zaeed (best line in the game--"Rage is a hell of an anesthetic."), but Garrus and Tali remain my two favorites.
