I recently found my old gameboy with Pokemon Yellow still intact inside of it. I turned it on and by some miracle, the battery still worked. So I've been playing it the last few hours and it made me think how unoriginal Pokemon have become in recent games. My personal favourite would have to be Snorlax. He is big, friendly, completely unreliable in combat and can eat his weight in food. He basically reminds me of me...

My favorite of the first 151 would have to be... Well, I'd say Ninetails. He's way too damn adorable.

However, my favorite less than obvious candidate would be Beedrill. They're quite good if you can train one long enough.
