I've heard some doozies over the last few months, especially with my Aunt being THE most PC person I have ever met. Reading a book the other day, I came across two (ok ok it was a fantasy book, but I liked the 2 phrases anyway). The first was 'Lunarly Challenged' describing werewolves, and the second was 'Terminally Anaemic' describing vampires. I couldn't help but laugh. So I was wondering what some of you favourite PC phrases are that have made you laugh.

I'll ask now that noone post anything overly offensive, as I don't want to be help responsible and end up with a probation or ban for it. I realise this topic can be a bit...iffy, but please use common sense when adding to the thread.

EDIT: My apologies on the previous title. It didn't even cross my mind that it would be misinterpreted as the PC referring to computers. Sorry for any confusion caused.

Wait, what's a PC phrase? ._.
Thought this was about geek speak but ...

edit: Looks like it's still about geek speak but I was expecting something about computers... forgive my ignorance.
I think it stands for "politically correct." The title confused me a little bit as well. I was expecting a thread where we all try and sound like Windows XP error messages. Very disappointed.

I hate when people say "It's not Indian, it's Native American." That makes no sense because they say they originated from America, well I was born here, so by their standards, I'm a Native American. When Columbus called them Indians, he called them that because he thought he was in India and that's what people from India are called. He didn't mean it in a racist way.

Most of the people I know who are "Native American" don't freak out if you call them Indians so long as you include their tribe name before it. So basically, when people correct me I just tell them to shove it.

I've asked around, the new PC term is "American Indian" which doesn't make any sense.

They're not "shallow pandering bastards", they're "politically correct".
At least that's what it feels like these days...

I bet the term "genetically challenged" will replace certain descriptors and conditions over the next few years. It's all to make people equal.

That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Now I dislike people more than I already did.
