Man, I've been a Nintendo boy during the 5th generation. I barely played playstation...until recently.

My cousin won't borrow me FF tactic, which pisses me off. Also, I've been searching for a copy of Tactic Ogres: Let us Cling together ever since I bought the damn console!

The Ogre series is so much fun. It's also full of deep stories.

Um you really cant start a thread like this and not expect a lot of people to respond with FFVII. But I Also really like FFVIII and Legend of the Dragoon. It was a really bad RPG but it had a lot of good things about it. It's also one of two PS1 games I still own. Right up there with FFVII.
There is a reason that the game still costs 60 bucks

Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus are mine, but there were a ton of brilliant games on that system.

Honourable mentions go to the first 4 Crash Bandicoot games - including Crash Team Racing; MediEvil 1 and 2; Syphon Filter; Metal Gear Solid; Tekken 2 and 3; Rayman; Legacy of Kain.

Speaking of Kain, they really should re-release that. Spruce the graphics up, fix the camera, get John Hurt in there to do some voices - It'd be great!

Spyro. No contest. I LOVE Spyro. I still play it sometimes, and listen to Year of the Dragon's soundtrack a lot. Easily my favorite PSOne game/series, and quite possibly of all time.

Haha the only three games I remember from ps1 are Jak and Daxter, Spyro, and this one Remote controlled car racing game. Spyro was the greatest, but I never did beat it.

Jak and Daxter are from PS2.

I'm gonna say Crash Bandicoot. Good times.

Machine Hunter i got it or like a dollar at a yardsale one year and it was so much fun basically your some secret goverment project badass with a suit that lets you take over robots so you'd run around kill a robot then take it over and fuck shit up there were 9 different kinds you could use (my personal favorites were the first one which was pretty much a spider that what machine guns mounted on it, a tank with a napalm cannon, and one that shot lasers that bounced off walls when you had higher level weapons on it, and the giant ass rape rocket launcher go godzilla on their forces mech suit type thing) i highly advise you all to go to your local flea market/thrift store and hunt down a copy

I agree, legend of mana was a top game for PS1, but all time fav is without a doubt Legend of Dragoon. Don't know it? SHAME! that game changed my gaming personality forevs.
