So, after watching a load of one piece, simpsons, south park and pokemon movies (the later ones, gen 4 I believe? It had Giratina in) I've just heard an amazing quote which I think is so... Beautiful. Simple, yet great.

Homer Simspon (To Moe): "Sometime, when you least expect it, you'll realize that someone loved you. And that means that someone can love you again! And that'll make you smile."

I'll admit that I don't exactly do relationships, or indeed anything more than friendship (partially due to a lack of self confidence, partially due to bad experiences, partially due to just wanting to be friends.) So this quote made me smile, and think about my past relationship a little more positively.

So, what are your favourite quotes from cartoons? (and the reason behind it, preferably!)

I'll take it that anime gets a free pass too otherwise I have nothing. I can't even remember a good Simpsons quote anymore.

Oh no, there was the monorail episode

"Remember people, mono means one and rail means rail"

I laughed too much when I first heard that one, it's just too stupid.

Anime side, episode 24 for Kill la Kill has a good quote every other line but i'll reach for the low hanging fruit, last episode spoilers obviously.

"Sailor uniforms were made to be grown out of, this is fine. Promise me you'll wear clothing that is cuter than I could ever be."

Senketsu man... T_T

Also Gamagori's dramatic re-entrance to save the day was too hype. I mean that entire scene is too hype but when he shows up it goes up to 11. That laugh. That fucking laugh. Descends from the sky ala episode 1 with the best booming laugh you have ever heard

Also every bloody line out of Sora's mouth in No Game No Life. The whole chess scene in episode 3 especially. When pressed to make a motivational speech with zero preparation of course the first thing he would think to open with would be that crass and out of nowhere.

"Attention all all forces! By my authority as king, everyone who fights well in this battle *deep breath* CAN BANG ANY WOMAN THEY LIKE!"

Pretty brave considering he's the only male in the entire anime room. Sexually frustrated 18 year old virgin yo' and Sora's voice actor sells it so well.

Also the whole of episode 8. All of it.

"Did you see that one coming, Mr Mind Reader? Checkmate."
