Favourite Time On The Escapist

Ahh...you know, I really love this time of day on the Escapist here. It's 2:40AM currently for me and round this time everyday, everything just seems very....chill.

Nothing hectic is going on, most of my closer friends are on at this time and there just seems to be a smoother aroma to the place when things aren't so batshit crazy when the forums are packed during earlier hours. Though, it very well could be because I'm listening to my nice smooth jazz collection right now, but typically, this is my absolute favourite time to come here.

So, quick question, Escapist. What's your favourite time, moment, or particular day here?

I always love the transition time between the US and European users.

At certain points it's almost like an audible gear shift in attitudes and viewpoints (and sadly, intelligence some times).

While I might not like any day in particular, I do hate Fridays. Fridays almost always see a visible dip in the collective intelligence and civility.

Well the days when I was overreacting and the Escapist help me with my... cousin problem... I expected to get a lot of trolls on that thread but I got a lot of helpful advice... it really helped me calm down and examine my situation more carefully...

Not really sure.

With my schedule the times im on usually range from morning, mid afternoon, too late night/EARLY morning.

Though i usually like evening time(6-9 PM US Central Time) the best.
Most of the people i know here are awake/off work and online around that time.

I love being up at 2:50 A.M. (my current time) and going on the Escapist, since for some reason a lot of the nicer people that I have more in common with are on at this time.

This is also the time that I'm usually a good combination of tired and bored, and for whatever reason, being tired and bored makes me really, really creative.

Wow, I never thought of that!

I found it was really interesting when I had insomnia and ended up on the Escapist at 3am Perth Australia time. I ended up reading the opinions of a great many different nationalities (I was assuming our British, European and possibly American members.) It was quite refreshing.

I have also seen it in reverse, as when a new competition was announced, just when the concentration of Asia-Pacific memebers was at its highest. Of course, it was funny... because none of us were able to partake of the competition, yet we were the first to see.

Well as I am too in the Eastern time zone I gotta say I love how calm the nigh time for me is here. Nice easy, a lot of bright users on about this time. As for some relaxing music.

I like 11pm to 2 pm EST since that is usually when I'm on.

I'm usually on whenever I have a computer available, but I never thought about that. I do like it when the usergroups are more active, though, which tends to mean late afternoon to late evening, which I guess would be morning for some of the European users. Saturday also seems to attract more users.

I guess around now is a pretty good time. Late night is usually my visual novel playtime, and that's the usergroup I'm most attached to, as well...

Either when it's active, I suppose... Or more specifically, I'd say late into my night/morning (US Mountain Time). Just about when the Europeans start showing up, if I'm doing the math right. It's usually because I'm in the mindset of "If I play a game, I won't get off til late," so I go on the Escapist and... don't get off til late.

Plus I find it interesting hearing/reading from people on an entirely different landmass.

I am a large fan of polls, and tend to post both serious/joking posts. I also enjoy being quoted for some reason, even if it is a negative reply. Always love a good argument. To me the forums are the same all the time though, no change night or day.

My favourite time is around 11pm in England. As then, all my friends appear online and the fun can begin again!

There is always someone to talk to around here, no matter what time or day it may be, though.
Of course, it does get quieter at the weekends as many people tend to go out and get drunk and spend time with friends and loved ones but there is always at least a handful of people in FGs and Groups to chat with.

My favourite time spent on the PC, and consequently The Escapist is when it's raining outside and there's interesting topics on the forum, I have my big ass comfortable as fuck hoody on with a cup of tea, with World of Warcraft tabbed in a window levelling my Healer through random dungeons, which doesn't take much effort thankfully, and some Hip Hop or instrumental music playing in the background. Fortunately, the weather is frequently shit in England, the Escapist has some interesting threads a lot of the time, this hoodie is so fucking dope I'd be a **** not to wear it, tea is easy as fuck to make, WoW plays itself, and I have a shitload of music to choose from, so the good times can always roll on mah PC.
