I would agree if it weren't for all the terrible gameplay that the game devolves into in the final portion.Fr said:anc[is]The solo ending of VtM:B is also pretty epic
I can see where you're coming from, and I've had this conversation before. But Bishop Vick or the sewers aren't exactly subtle hints to toughen up, and 95% of the endgame minions are squishy bloodbags and totally stealthable. I do see your point thoughGiantRaven said:I would agree if it weren't for all the terrible gameplay that the game devolves into in the final portion.
Made a character focusing on social skills, which was viable for the rest of the game? Well fuck you! Enjoy your repeating death! Did you like the RPG we made, with lots of interesting conversations and non-combat options? Well fuck you! Have endless waves of enemies to fight!
The problem is that it's just too much linear combat for a game that, up until that point, had a wide variety of missions. It's really irritating because the reason I'm enjoying the games so much isn't because of the combat and to be forced into that for the ending makes me think less of the game.Fr said:anc[is]I can see where you're coming from, and I've had this conversation before.
