To be entirely honest I do not agree with their actions on behalf of Wikileaks. I agree with a lot of what Anonymous has done, but I do think that Wikileaks went too far. In that case I think they were endangering more people than they were helping, not to mention sort of shooting themselves in the foot because the people benefitting from the information released by things like Wikileaks are far more opposed to the freedom Anonymous claims to defend than the groups they are outing. Whether my opinion on this will change remains to be seem, but I do not think it will.
Otherwise, until they actually manage to both arrest and successfully convict someone I'm not all that impressed here. All we're seeing is Law Enforcement running around, flexing some muscle, to show that they are concerned about Anonymous which has been becoming increasingly famous due to it's attacks. They have to be seen doing something, but whether this is going to be a giant show or see results remains to be seen.
Truthfully, I half expect that this is going to backfire on the FBI and international law enforcement community if these kinds of actions don't yield substantial results, failure is going to make them look powerless, and honestly I don't think they are actually going to catch someone here.
I think Anonymous should return to operating on a somewhat smaller scale personally. Going after media and internet censorship policies is one thing, even if they attack goverments. Getting involved in information involving goverment secrets, diplomatic files, espionage, and similar things like Wikileaks was involved in is an entirely differant matter, especially in today's climate.
