FEAR and FEAR 2

I just re-bought FEAR after a hiatus of a few years (I couldn't get into it the first time) and it's going a little better this time. I was wondering if FEAR 2 was any good. The things that really get me about FEAR are that the "scary" parts and the "action" parts are always completely separate so that I can rest easy when the lights flicker b/c I know I won't get shot. Does FEAR 2 change that or keep it the same? Also, are the environments more varied/detailed or is it one long office corridor like FEAR? Is FEAR2 worth getting even if I'm not crazy about the first one? Thanks.

FEAR 2 is like FEAR for Consoles. The usual stripping happens, Graphics are optimized (or dulled down, if you want to say that) there's no leaning. And they added the ability to push over cover and..use it like cover. But you never will.

FEAR is better than FEAR 2. ...so if you're not crazy about the 1st one, the second one won't do anything for you. Unless you like the story it's telling. ...Which the end is kinda fucked up.

I didnt play the first one which proably wasnt the best Idea

anyway I was completley lost when it came to the plot (my fault) some things really did annoy me such as why Beckett (the PC) doesnt talk I mean when talking could have saved peoples lives ("no dont go after the crying woman!! youll die I saw it happen!")

I felt it was a little short too

it wasnt a bad game, there were some good things as for weather or not Ill play fear 3...I really dont know mabye I should play the first one

If you loved FEAR, you will like FEAR 2. Yes, I got the order there correct.
