i thought missie and kathleen did a pretty awesome-as-hell job making that story funny, i couldn't stop laughing.
It's a story about a wild animal attacking an elderly person, how can it not be funny?
Exactly!
and the bit about her almost beating up the roo but those damn macho cops

First off Missy is awesome. Second how awesome would it be to have a Feed Dump with Tally, Missy and Kathleen? Thirdly... where was the enraged Pantomime Princess Margaret?
I don't see Tally doing this. It's not that she's not funny, it's just that this isn't exactly her style of humor. Of course, now that I say that, she's going to do it, and blow my mind.

Most cops in Aus I've known over the years would have shot the roo, gutted it, skinned it, bled it and butchered it. Maybe these guys thought the pepperspray would work as a spice.

So what happens when someone who watches this goes on their school news program and actually made a copy of your hat? Do we stop watching this and all watch their show?

"25 cents!" "A million and two!!"
Don't worry, Kathleen, I wouldn't be able to understand that game's rules either.

But Missie should've said "25 pence" instead... That way, she would've won. Oh well.

I really liked Missie in this one, though I think Kathleen rather stole the show (sorry Graham)!

Who's missy?
There were three people on that show, two of whom are well known LRR cast members, they had a segment called "Kathleen and Missy etc etc" where the well known one cooperated with the one known as missy.

Derp harder :p

Seriously though I think it was the news stories to blame for any perceived lack of funnys. Old lady getting savaged by a kangaroo, police intervene with pepper spray? Very black humour there, a mix of the absurd and the disturbing (my mate's dad got the crap beaten out of him by a kangaroo when he was like 30 so I hate to think what would happen to an old lady). Not really laugh out loud stuff. Although they did do a good job with the "The Australian policemen should have wrestled it like the men I know they can be" bit, that was good. (I'm Australian).

As for the bears thing I reckon you should've just gone with "Due to the recent drought, towns in Texas are being menaced by inbred Texan bears who are being forced to venture closer to human settlements" rather than the bears=vampires thing. You guys seemed to focus a lot on the idea of bears being "reclusive" as opposed to extroverted and less on the fact that they all seem to have originated from a single breeding pair. Missy's comment about starting the first breeding pair was gold though.

I don't know why I'm telling them how to do their jobs (assuming they read this) but the facebook comments about "Missy bad, don't bring her back" annoyed me so I feel like I need to be constructive.

Hate to join the Haters but yeah, Missy didn't really convince me either. Might have worked if we'd first seen her in a couple LoadingReadyRuns etc. to get used to her type of comedy, "acting" etc.
This way - no, sorry, not funny.

The british accent wasn't funny, the "shame over wine" thing was overdone, she looked around too much, too long, etc.
The "I'm a wine addict and ashamed of it when it's brought up" act has potential, she did some of that well, but not nearly enough unfortunately.

But it's an interesting experience - makes us more aware how good the other guys actually are. Just taking that for granted usually but they really have great comedic timing, style.

And, as unfair a criticism that may be, her voice didn't work for me. Catheyln and Gramm both have very appealing voices, they don't .... "raise the level", they flow along nicely. Same goes for everyone else on the LRR team. Missy's voice is too high and a little shrill and took me out of it everytime she spoke.
I know that that sucks and it's unfair etc., just describing my not so great experience with this episode.

Cool to see Missie. It's nice to see some of the outside cast show up and be funny.

I'm hoping this is a sign that my favorite, Tally, will do one of these one day.

I really like Missie, and I now want her to be in other episodes and of LRR. Provided she wants to. Yay Missie!

Missie was fine people are just being douche bags to the new things they don't know.

Also Kangaroo's and Australia I expected a Saxton Hale joke there.
Which never came, I was disappoint :(

When Graham did his little sailor dance at the end, I couldn't help but sing Matt's dubstep thing from last week.

"Missie Peters has been known to perform her poetry on street corners, with improvisors and sometimes, naked."

....

....

I refuse to take the blame for head theater. It says so on her website!
