comments in list format ready go!
1) Prettttty sure this type of thread is a no-no, but I'm not 100% so I'll let it it go.
2) If you are planning on speaking/providing commentary on your Let's play, then yes you should get a mic.
3) If you want people to watch, you should provide some information. For example, what it's a let's play of and perhaps what, if any, is your angle towards doing it. (Demonstration, discussion, examination, etc)
Note: I did not watch it (or even follow the link) in large part due to number 3, so that would be some legit feed back to think about.
Advertising? Lockable offense. Genuinely asking for advice on the Advice forum? Reasonable.
But in addition to what this guy said:
The intention of this Let's Play is not entirely clear. Let's Plays typically fall into three categories: Documentarian [http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/ir/jo/jolp/30275-lets-play-yu-yu-hakusho-part-1], reactionary [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGvZa3tiYwY], and storytelling/roleplay. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_gPe036iK0&feature=related] You obviously haven't taken the perspective of Goku, so its not roleplay. The commentary is too sparce to feel like a robust reactionary LP, but you don't tell us enough about the game to make it more documentarian.
Tell me what your intentions for the let's play are, and I can give you more advice.
Also, regardless of your mic quality, record the game audio and your commentary on separate channels. You
need to be able to control the volume in order to be audible. What's your recording setup? (If its an emulator, then kindly leave out that part so I can go about assisting you in my blissful ignorance)
Still, you should invest in a microphone if you're going to invest in all the time and effort required for a Let's Play.
