My question is simple, when you feel like shit (ill, in pain or depressed) what do you eat?

I have managed to get polos to work as a sort of placebo for painkillers, kinda strange really since I know they're just polos so the placebo effect shouldn't work. I also take them for travel sickness on the rare occasion that hits me.

I would ask what you drink but I have a feeling alcohol would be mentioned by most, feel free to be more specific on what type though.

Whenever any of the guys are down the entire group always goes to Hooters for Chicken Wings and Beers. Funnily enough, the last time my girlfriend broke up with me I was already at Hooters when I got her message.

Not so much food for me, but drinks.

See that? That's a real man's tea and coffee. That there's Chai Latte. It's quite possibly one of the greatest things ever invented.

Figured some one should link me an article about chocolate being an 'upper'. Thanks.
Btw, the drink,"a real man's tea and coffee"? Do you mean tea-and-coffee-in-one?

Yes. It's a blend between the two. Bear in mind that Chai is a black tea, so it's naturally pretty strong, and that a latte, depending on who makes it, usually has a few shots of espresso added to it as well. If you have the right ingredients for both, you essentially take the strongest tea that you can find and the strongest coffee that you can find, then blend the two together.

I like cooking up a cup of Turkish coffee.

Loads of sugar, caffeine, and chocolate; all in one tiny cup. Makes espresso look like water.

How's that stuff mix with Chai?

Christmas is the time to spend some extra time in your kitchen. Might as well try it, okey, the ingredients will be bought tomorrow, since stores are closed now, but I defo gonna try it. Thanks.

Alcohol, obviously. It may be a depressant, and sure you'll regret it the following morning, but you get to have one night of delightfully oblivious happiness.

Canned chicken noodle soup, along with a sandwich that everyone who isn't me thinks is disgusting (which does not matter in the slightest since anyone who IS me thinks it's one of the most awesome sandwiches you can make). Ham, peanut butter, and spinach.

I'll also throw into the soup whatever vegetables I have lying around in my fridge. Often carrots, parsnips, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, or some combination of the above. It's both filling and satisfying.
