..She was so lovely.
..What is sort of the worst part... I did everything right. She said " I was a good boyfriend, nice" and all that... but she did not feel that way... That is cool and all... But still... Feels.. feels.. like something is... gone/ under pressure near my heart and in my head..

Dude, it happens. It's the biggest ***** in the world because you built up all the synaptic pathways and it's a bastard to get rid of them. I should know.

Regardless, combat coffee.

Tell me more.
Had a girlfriend, loved her to death. For all her flaws, I said she was perfect. However, when she didn't reciprocate my feelings and eventually told me to never speak to her again, it hurt.

This was all due to psychological conditioning on my part. I told myself (and her as well) that she was pretty despite a bad skin condition. I told her she was sexy despite mosquito bite-sized breasts. As I told myself more of what I thought she wanted to hear, I started to believe it. Had she been a normal person, I would have outright just seen her flaws.

If Data on Star Trek taught me anything, it was that synaptic responses are built over time and become missed when they aren't fired. Basically, it's like an addiction. The only way to eliminate the connections is with time. You can catalyze the time by keeping yourself occupied with other stuff, but it will always come down to time.
