I'm right there with you. Life's been less than pleasant since about 2008. Nothing you can do but put your head down and weather the storm.

That is a really sucky situation to be in , and while it will hurt for a while, you will overcome it and you now have more experience. I don't think he deserves another chance (as a boyfriend), just keep being friends with him. And don't worry , you will find another special person, who hopefully, will turn out to be better
