so i have five descriptions for races in a fantasy story i'm writing, but i can't think of ANY names for them, descriptions of the races and the places they live in are below, PLEASE!!!!

Areas
Eyrua (er-U-ah): Pleasantly temperate, with old growth forests and many lakes, the only country that every race can be found in.
Sklera: Rugged, freezing cold and mountainous, barely hospitable except by those animals adapted to living there.
Thrassos: Dunes upon dunes of red sand desert. Riddled with dangerous animals and the ever present deadly sun, this place is as unhospitable as Sklera, just in a different way.
Patchouli : Plains, inhabited by grazing animals and predatory cats, crisscrossed with rivers.
Y?Wren (yuh ren): a country that is covered with trees, practically from shoreline to shoreline. A traveler that does not know his way will soon be claimed by the forest of near 100 foot trees.

Races
Insect-like people with four legs they walk on and two they manipulate with, hands with two fingers and a thumb. Red-brown chitinous armor plates cover their bodies. They are known for their fantastic pottery and favor pole-arms as weapons. They are mostly found in Thrassos.

Amphibious people that can operate on land as easily as in the sea their porous skin allows for easy exchange of moisture, and actually becomes more breathable when exposed to salt water. They have blue-green skin, pointed ears and hundreds of sensitive sensory organs instead of hair. They are a very musical people, and are renowned as actors. They inhabit Eyrua, Patchouli and Y?Wren fairly evenly.

A massive race with eyes that constantly change color, they are all extremely pale and have small spines instead of hair. Their skin is hard as stone and always cold. They are renowned metalsmiths, their swords are widely coveted items and usually have enchantments of cold upon them and are meant to be wielded by someone very large. They are most comfortable in Sklera.

A graceful race of avians known throughout Koralus as poets, philosophers and writers. Most of their plumage that changes color with their mood, save for one frill that starts on their head and finishes at their tail that is one color their entire lives. They also have long, sharp beaks that click when they talk. They are a snobby race that thinks themselves more refined then the other races, with the notable exception of the (Eyrua race.) They are very easily the weakest warriors of the six races, preferring to retreat into their treetop homes that are almost exclusively located in Y?Wren.

A four-armed, delicate race that is renowned for their jewelry making. They are also vastly powerful spell casters, and their homes in Y?Wren and Eyrua are always barricaded with powerful protective spells. They are second only in height to the (Sklera race), they are without mouths and speak through telepathy. They are a very wise and ponderous race, always taking the long view of things since they live to be almost 1000 years old. They have pale blue skin that becomes steadily more translucent with age and have large eyes with excellent night vision.

A diminutive race of bards and poets known for their excellent wine and cooking skills. They have dark hair and ruddy skin that tans easily in the sun filled plains of Patchouli. They are a laid back race that would much rather sit down and discuss problems over a pipe and a wineskin then fight. Their eyes are metallic colors, usually silver or copper colored, gold eyes are extremely rare.

any help would be greatly appreciated : )

Something that has often helped me in this department is to think of a word that describes each race and go to an online English-Greek translator (or English to any language, really: Latin, Greek, Spanish, so long as the language isn't too well known to your audience). This gives a bit of a deeper meaning to the story, giving you name ideas and giving critics more to look at and analyze. :)

Try visiting Seventh-Sanctum- the names it geneorates are pretty lame half the time, but with a bit of imagination the name can be improved- the name generators in the internet main use is to provide inspiration, and not necessarly just to give you a name.

I like the advise Thaius has given, i might try that sometime if i need to. What i think you can also sometimes do is go on google maps and find obscure place names, mix two or more place names together and see what you come up with.

I find this quite an interesting subject. And I think I got some names on my mind.
But I'll edit as I think along.

Race of insects: Rachers.
Race of amphibians: Coralls (Normally I'd say Naga, but W o W ninja'd it)
Race of massives: Strongmans
Race of avians: Hmmm... Beakmen, Avians... I'm empty here :/

Hmm...If possible, avoid naming them. Just call them 'bugs' or 'the birds' from your characters perspective. If you can't avoid this, translate and change it in another language. Made-up words are very jarring to read if you repeat them alot.

actually i got inspiration for these guys from Seventh Sanctum, however they don't have a fantasy race name generator, which is lame

well the thing is that the main character is going to be regularly interacting with a member of every single one of these species, and i want something to call them besides their character names.
