@Harbinger_ There's no such thing as a male Asari, that's explained quite a few times and why.

OT: Garrus talks about when he used to be part of the Turian army and "wrestled" with a female Turian. You don't see any in the games of note that I can remember. As for Krogans you see the one dead one laying on a slab which someone mentioned.

Krogan and Salarian Females have been said to of been kept on the home planet, since most of the Salarian race is overwhelmingly Male and the Krogan... well you've seen them! You think they'd give their women rights?

There is no explanation for the rest of the species however.
Umm, Krogan women are kept on the homeworld because of the genophage, not because of sexism.
Man, I feel so dumb right now. I totally forgot about that... Haha.

For some of them, it was for fictional reasons that they weren't seen in the world at large. For others, you can probably expect a degree of technical reason behind it (e.g. additional meshes, animations, and textures crammed into memory).

I doubt many of them look to different from their male counterparts. The only ones I can see having any big difference are the Batarians and Turians. The Volus are all in suits, the Elcor are probably just a difference in size, Krogans and Salarians are reptiles so there isn't going to be much difference, and Hanar are jelly fish.

Ah, yes...these so called "females" that Shepard is obsessed about...
I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite female on the Escapist.
Thank you! You know have 10% off on anything we sell on the Citadel.

Problem with that is that you never SAW the krogan. She was under a tarp the entire time and the game never let us actually look at her.

Female turians don't look what you think they look like. Fun fact, they don't have boobs. If the groundskeeper is any indication at least. He mentions that they have no boobs.

He starts talking about it at 0:44 or so.

So yeah, not every female creature has boobs. You have no idea what they look like. Or sound like. Or anything really.

Turians and Krogans are probably not sexy enough to warrant female counterparts.
I think a lot of fan-girls would disagree regarding Turians.
They love themselves some Garrus.
Hoo boy.
Garrus is like the Tali for girls and gay dudes.
It is ABSURD the kind of crazy lust he inspires.

When I play femShep, it's Garrus all the way. The way he acts around her is fantastic. He feels the most realistic emotionally of any of the other party members to me.

Turians - dunno, but probably would look like that http://asurael-returns.deviantart.com/art/Female-Turian-154605246
Elcor - gender may not be noticeable
Volus - either gender unnoticeable or they look the same, just with some small breasts and Shepard never met one
Salarians - there is fewer women than men, and they usually stay on the homeworld, taking care of eggs
Krogans - there is one female corpse under a cloak in krogan hospital (mordin loyalty mission), and her size is smaller than normal krogan - more like human size
Hanar - most probably unnoticeable
Batarians - their race is very similar to humans, and their females probably look like human ones, just with four eyes and terribly ugly.

BTW: Tali is the best.

Small spoiler about the female Krogan.

She's dead so you don't hear her talk but she is there and Mordin goes into a monologue about her.

I think for Turians, Krogans and Salarians,Bioware will just make different character models for their women. Just like how Quarians have simalar men and women but still have a clear difference

You guys know there's another one, right? There's a female ambassador in the "main area" of Tuchanka. She's kind of mean.
