Feudal Japan RPG?

I WOULD really like to see an RPG set in Japan. Sengoku Era is of course the msot popular due to the conflicts involved, but I think you could eras such as the Bakumatsu as well. Skyrim style probably work so well, but it wouldn't bad. I'd prefer a more 3rd party, action RPG system.

I think a more fantastical bent could also work. Maybe bring in mythology and monsters like oni, kitsune, demons, and whole bunch of other stuff. Heck, you could even do a straight up fictional version of Japan and just let it be pure fantasy. I really would like to see more Eastern mythos brought up in games. Very fascinating

I actually think an Assassin's Creed set in Feudal Japan would be much more interesting than any open world RPG with the setting.

That sounds very exciting. I know the knights Templars will be on the samurial side.
