this is basically a "what flame threads do you post on?" thread...

Off-topic, how the hell did you get On The Record so fast?
I do not really know. I think I will thank User Groups, and Forum Games for my post count jump. And my clingy nature. And my love of this place. And Neonbob and Fat Man Spoon.

I also think if I left, this place would implode due to the sudden loss of awesomeness
Ah, forum games, I should've known. They do that to you, especially with how often Neon posts in them (I'm a former one, thus my post count). Also how ae86gamer got a lot of hers originally, along with the RPs.

People who make uninformed arguments. For example, I'm for National Healthcare, and if you're not, fine, I'll debate with you and we'll both go home better off for it. But the people (like Glenn Beck) who doubt the motives behind the reforms and think Obama is doing this specifically to "Destroy America", they drive me up the wall.
This, a thousand times this.
Also, hypocritical people, they drive me nuts.

Yea, it really did that to me. And once me and Neon posted about 200 messages combined on one forum game (What would you do for a Klondike bar?). We got completely off-topic. Twas a fun time
Nice. The two of us managed to average about 100 posts a day for a short period of time. That was just a completely insane grind across about 3 or 4 forum games (I think they were Objection!, Forum Game: The Confession Game, The One-Up Game and Questions and Answers, most of those are now dead ones) for a few days (week or two at most, can't remember) and inevitably led to me going gonzo after a few months here and Neon hitting On The Record about two months before getting Neo. Those were whole days on the computer, and we even live in completely different time zones, so one of us was always staying up stupidly late.

I was once watching a nature show on Animal Planet while in India. It was about to show a never-before-caught-on-tape ritualistic fight between two male king cobras, over which cobra was allowed to stay in a specific territory. Just before it started, the power cut off, and I screamed.

However, they showed it again a week later. It was fun to watch, since the cobras don't use their fangs. They twist and flail at each other until one cobra's head hits the ground. That cobra loses, of course.

Yo dawg, I heard you like quotes,
so I put a quote in a quote, so you can read a comment while you read a comment.
To be honest, I did have about four months off during then, so I had plenty of time to spend whole days here. Not sure whether or not Neon had the same or at least something similar. I'm close to On The Record now, but I have slowed down on the posting front since those days, so it may take longer now.

Bad game design gets me pissed like nothing else I can recall at the moment. This strikes me as odd, because I'm usually calm to the point of abnormality (my username is "Zen" for a reason).

Things like broken camera systems (Ninja Gaiden II, Shinobi on the PS2) and bullshit bosses (Jinpachi Mishima, Seth, Bison in Street Fighter 2) piss me off tremendously.

Don't worry! You'll make it! *Que inspirational music*
Yeah, Neon said the same thing once [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.123354?page=6#2513374]. We even made reference to dramatic and heroic music [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.123354?page=6#2513485]. I've changed my plans on what to do since then, seeing as the fatality game died for a second time in September.

That thread I linked to faced some major derailment, I just realised.

EDIT: Fataliy's back again?!

I think I was pretty close to that when a nail went into my foot, otherwise I can't really think of anything.

Someone besides me dislikes people who flame and don't back up arguments for crap? I love you man! Anyway, people who don't back up their arguments and people who have no reason to argue. Personally, I'm against the healthcare debate simply because a) it didn't work in Europe. B) The fact is, corruption means most of that money isn't helping people, its going into lots and lots of pockets. c) although this is just my opinion. Throwingmoney at a blamed problem doesn't solve it!

Nothing like yelling the word "fuck" to provoke uncontrollable, and inexplicable, laughter.

Usually, losing to certain game bosses does this to me, usually when I've been trying for days and I've nearly won. Kingdom Hearts II and Metroid Fusion (in fact, most Metroid games) have a few examples which particularly stick in my mind. I'm pretty sure there are a couple of real-life people who make me do this, too.
