Pokemon, 100% pokemon! I'd have a team of sentient animals that have awesome powers that I'd use to beat up other people's sentient-animal-pets and take their money!!!

It's a furry's every kid's dream!!!

Hmmmm, probably any of the Universes in Robert Jordan's, Brandon Sanderson's or Tolkien's books.

And probably Star Wars.

I'd have to go to Pern myself, by the Nine it'd be so awesome to be there.

Except for the whole Threadfall thing, that'd be a *****, unless I was a dragonrider, then it'd be K.

... This solve media is being a douche... "how quaint"

Hmm,I have the list narrowed down to 3 at the moment

1:Mass Effect-Ya,I would probably die from huskification, but I'm willing to take that chance.Especially if it turns into a variation of Mass Vexation :p.

2:Homestuck-Though knowing my luck I would either get ported there just as Earth was being bombarded by meteors or I would end up on Alternia, though that could be better if I run into a NICE troll....yaaaa fat chance of that happening..

3:Custom Universe-Ya this one may seem an odd choice, but I would have to say the Universe that my stories take place in.Granted, its just like the normal world, but your chance of meeting an alien is slightly better, though so is your chance of meeting a vampire, fairy, werewolf, spirit etc etc.

Honorable mentions go to World Of Darkness and Warhammer 40k.In WoD atleast you have a small chance of becoming supernatural. In 40k I would probably end up on a planet about to be eaten by nids :(.

Did you read the OP at all? Pretty much the entire point was that you have to be a regular civilian, i.e. yourself, in the universe you go to.
I could sneak onto a space shuttle and get caught in cosmic rays and get powers like that. I could sneak into an recreation of the experiment that gave Spider-man his abilities, make sure an animal got caught in the radioactivity, and have it bite me. I could enlist in HYDRA and let them experiment on me to become the next super-soldier. Hell, there are even spells in the Marvel universe a 4 year old can perform. I'll be myself going into the universe, but as long as I remain active I'll stumble across an opportunity to be empowered. Or dead. But that's the risk.

I think the Pokemon universe is the obvious choice here. The less obvious choice I'll choose is the Ratchet and Clank universe. All kinds of robots to blow up and the most ridiculous weapons ever devised! And additionally nothing bad ever happens and when it does you have the two greatest heroes ever to clean up the mess.

Warhammer 40,000. I'm utterly fucked but at least I might become a Servo-Skull.

Pokemon and Mass Effect spring to mind quite quickly, and they seem like good choices. I would want to go with Star Wars/Star Trek too though because of all the amazing technology and the chance of becoming someone I could never imagine to be here.

[small]Oh, and My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, but only if I could live in ponyville as a human. That would be great![/small]

EDIT: *Slaps forehead* Duh! Almost forgot Alan Wake! I'd love to meet the guy and travel with him. Maybe as a figment of his imagination or something. =)

Gensokyo, no question.

it's temping to say equestria, but i wouldn't want to spoil the purity of that place with ... me. anyway, in gensokyo, if i was weak i'd be killed, and if i was strong i could get chummy with the other powerhouses there. it's a win/win situation.

Warhammer 40K, it's my paradise. Failing that I'd say Star Wars where I could join the imperial military and crush those rebel terrorists.

Fate/ universe. All I need is one little magic circuit. Sure I'd likely die within a couple of days, but what an amazing 2 days they would be...

Otherwise, probably the Mass Effect universe, though I'd likely need a military career to go see everything. After what my Shepard went through, if they're all at each other's throats again I'm not going to be pleased.

Or the fictional universe of one of my fantasy stories. You know, the type that's amazing until you tell someone about it, and its wave function collapses and it becomes terrible.

Tamriel for sure, specifically Skryim. I love the cold and even though I'd probably just be a store merchant or something it would still be lovely to live there. So much simpler than here too.

Probably Pokemon. Or My Little Pony. Hell, even Discworld sound interesting... Ooh! Or maybe the one of the Digimon universes... provided I get a partner, of course...

No reason that it wouldn't. Now, comes the question of what you would imagine.

Well, assuming you mean specifically the digital universe, everyone that enters the digital world either seemed to get a Digimon partner or become a Digimon themselves. Of course, if you enter the real world side of the Digimon universe, you'd have to find a way into the Digital World. Shouldn't be too hard if you're a fan.

I'd live on the Discworld. Seems to be one of the less dangerous universes. And if I do die, at most I'll just be annoyed instead of terrified.
You sir, with an awesome avatar, are correct.
