Well it's that time of the year again when EA feels the need to release the next game in their line of steady franchises like NHL, Madden, NBA and FIFA. So here is my review of the game, warning may contain an opinion.
I'll start with the good.
This years game has A new feature which allows you to put your face onto the player much like what they did in PGA tour last year, so if your into that then that's a massive bonus for you, personally though I'd much rather play the game as you don't really get to see the player except in celebrations and in be a pro (but that's not even that close up). The other new feature this game boasts is that you can now run in a full 360 degrees which allows for more precession whilst running up the pitch etc. Game play is your standard setup the change to 360 degrees takes a little while to get used to, but once your used to it you'll be running rings round your opponents in no time, however it feels more polished and refined. The graphics are also really good quality better then the last and it plays really well.
Now for the bad points, there are quite a few, The new features of the game which I mentioned above first the game face one (which allows you to put your "face" in the "Game" get it?) whilst reviewing I thought I might see if this worked and to my amazement it didn't apparently it's a server overload or something like that, or maybe it's just me. but a couple of people I asked had the same problem, the second feature 360 degrees doesn't actually feel that much different from FIFA 09 trust me I've compared, (remember the warning at the start this is an OPINION). Another little moan which is a big moan is that the referee feels like he is against me in this game, seriously, maybe it's just me but even the slightest knock and it will be a fail I barely get advantage played anymore and when it happens the other way around the ref will turn a blind eye (shame he can't turn a blind eye on their goals). My final moan is a massive one, where the hell are all the decent features EA? Where is Ultimate team ir are you gonna squeeze another 800 M$ points out of me again? This game comes with exactly the same stuff as last year more or less, With manager mode, be a pro and tournament mode, which they had last year and they didn't think to add ultimate team in.
Round up then Personally I feel this is just the Fifa 09 disc Just with a year added on to the title nothing feels different or new in this, My advice if you like this game Save yourself money and get last years game.
