So, we've always been told that love and relationships in the real world don't work like they do in video games. To the point, there is no little magical heart meter you can fill by showering a person in presents and gifts to make them want to bone you.

That easy to see and interpret little red thing doesn't exist in real life, unfortunately.

But lets take a leap here.

What if it did?

What items would people have to give you in order to make your heart go from cold, black hatred to big, thumping red love?

Personally, for me?

Big Increase

Minor Increase

I'm a simple man, into simple things I suppose. Also, that drink is fucking delicious.

CAPTCHA: Problem Solver

Goddamn right that Heart Meter would be a problem solver.

Hah! This sounds like fun and reminds me of dating from Persona 3, where certain items will cause the people your character dates to increase their affection for you more than others.

For me, a big increase would be...

Anything Sonic the Hedgehog related.

More specifically, clothing with Sonic on it. I always enjoy showing off my admiration for the Blue Blur.

...and for the minor increase...

ENCHILADAS! Easily my favorite food, if you can whip up a fresh batch of these bad boys, you will definitely earn my affection.

Okay, lemme think.

Doesn't have to be manga, specifically. I love all kinds of comics.

I'm a sucker for junk food. Any burger 'n' fries chain will do.

...preeeetty sure there are plenty of people in this world that are willing to bone you if you shower them with presents and gifts. They've even got a pop culture term for them, and even several songs about their activities!

*disclaimer before anyone freaks the fuck out and gets offended* I personally don't have any issue with someone agreeing to have sex with someone else for material goods or services. As long as the relationship is understood and agreed upon, do whatever you like for whatever reason.

Chocolate, I don't care if it's uncreative or cliche, chocolate would fill my heart meter.
How much depends on the timing in which I receive it and how it's prepared. A store bought Heresy's bar doesn't get as many points as Godiva and a Godiva bar doesn't get as many points as Godiva Chocolate Liqueur. Make a homemade chocolate creme pie for me and I'll see you at your place to burn the calories when I'm done.

For me?

Probably a fresh pair of properly-sized clothes to save me the trouble of having to go clothes shopping. Anything else I can just get online.

Just about anything else would make me go "Crap! Where am I going to store this stuff?"

I also enjoy just the "Golden Bear Strawberry Lemonade" but the Palmer is awesome. As far as the heart meter goes, the major increase would be someone intelligent to converse with. Preferably about some of the things I like. Like video games, anime, or sci-fi fantasy books. That's kind of a rarity. Minor increase... a woman who's voice sounds like Chiitra Neogy, the woman who did the voice of Scherezade in this.
She has the most beautiful and soothing voice I've ever heard. It makes Bob Ross sound like Bobcat Goldthwait.

Big increase: puns. They can even be bad puns. I don't care if George Takei is old enough to be my grandfather (and I'm not his type). The important thing is I'd jump him in a heartbeat if he was willing.

...what?

Actually, I'd say wordplay in general.

Little increase: kitties. They are the most adorable murder machines ever.

Being a huge fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000. Everyone around me, including my wife, are not fans of MST 3K, and it saddens my heart every time I try and get them to share my enthusiasm about the show.

Being able to run with a pun/joke that comes up in conversation. I tend to take things people say and string it out into a comical and fanciful direction, and it's even funnier when someone can play off that comedy thread, and run with it with me.

Lets see-

Big increase- Take away pizza. Oven based pizza are so dull even the good one. They don't have that freshness and appealing taste that take away people make!

Little increase- Chocolate bar. I liked eating sweet but I know I can't eat too much of it especially in one sitting (I have to look after my teeth you know!).
