Usually filler seems to be something people don't like, but in some shows like DBZ I actually really enjoyed it. Especially the Pikkon Vs Goku fight in the Otherworld Tournament it was fucking awesome as hell!

All the dialogue and set-up in the latter two Jurassic Park movies. I know they're just there so the dinosaurs can wreck their shit, but I genuinely do like it. Besides, I think the trailer scene in JP2 was just as good as the car scene from JP1.

EDIT
I've never really had a problem with filler. To butcher a quote; "Drama is life with the boring parts edited out." If anything, filler tends to have a more humanizing and world-building characteristic to it because it displays characters in situations apart from the main conflict. What do they do in their spare time? Do they always obsess over the important stuff or do they put it out of their minds? How do they react in mundane situations? etc. etc.

The DBZ filler in which Goku and Piccolo take driving lessons was also very amusing

Transformers Prime had some filler and all of it is ether super heartwarming or amazingly funny. I just want to watch more of it, actually.

Some of the filler in One Piece were good mainly the ones that Oda wanted to put in the manga like the fillers in Loguetown (how Ussop get those goggle).

The "Hot Springs" episode of Outlaw Star. WAIT -- wait! Hear me out.

The main thing this episode has going for it (aside from hilariously making fun of the main protagonist for being a pig) is that it's a perfectly placed pallet cleanser before the completely serious final episodes. Up to that point the series had been a blend of action, drama and comedy. The all-comedy hot springs episode serves as a goodbye to lighthearted adventure before the final plunge into darkness. And in this way it serves to highlight by contrast the more grim tone of the following episodes while being an enjoyable lark in its own right. It's an excursion that ultimately helps the impact of the larger story.

I liked the beetle arc in the original Naruto where Hinata learns her new move, but I think that's because she's my favorite character. Still, it was one of the rare times in the filler when a character was allowed to actually grow and develop.

I was looking forward to the Ninja War filler because I thought it meant that the other characters would finally get a chance to shine and do something, but instead it was all Naruto coming across someone he fought when he was younger. Sigh. Wasted chance right there.
