Okay, so I have a copy of Laputa Castle in the Sky, recently transcribed from taped video to a DVD. The 1986 english dub version. Now, I grew up with this copy, and can't stand the Disney re-dub.
The audio of the DVD is fine, but the visual is.. Well, it's from a tape nearly two decades old which broke and has been resorted.
My question is, what clever program can I, or should I use, to take the visual from the Disney re-dub.. (Going on the assumption I can easily borrow a copy) And merge it with the audio of this new DVD. That way, proper audio, and actual decent quality video.
I just want to splice the two together to make the perfect, digitally preserved copy. That's gotta be doable, right?
