What film/comic/book do you think could be turned into a post apocalyptic adventure?

Laurence of Arabia for me. I mean,it's already half done.

P.S Nuclear War Apocalypse.

The Narnia series.
hmm...

I am intrigued. Explain how,please!
Well, the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe already is, in a way, as the land is locked in an eternal winter at the start of the book (perhaps it could be nuclear?)

Pokemon.
Zombie Pikachus, I tell you!
Get your shotguns ready.
Probably one of those countless "Poke-experiments" gone wrong, creating the P-Virus that turns K.O.'ed Pokemon into zombies.

I'd also have liked to have a "sequel" to LotR where Sauron had won.
The book would be from the perspective of a few surviving Free Men in a world swarming with Orcs, Trolls, Human slaves such as the Easterlings and Shelob Spawn and whatnot.

What kind of apocalypse are we talking about? Nuclear war? Massive droughts? World Flooding? Something else that screws everything up? You have to be a bit more specific. There is far more than one type of apocalypse, and all of these change the world in different ways.

I though it would be interesting to see the effects on society, from the perspective of someone on earth, from the scenario in the movie Sunshine. The Icarus Project was the answer, but seeing humanity getting to the point where they were dying from the cold, and what they did to get to that point.

Edit: Not exactly post-apocalyptic, but Humans were on the way out...

Alice in wonder land could work pretty easily. Alice survives the apocalypse and the rabbit, cat, queen of hearts, etc. are all mutants that mutated due to radiation.
