Birdemic. I actually sat down and watched this with friends. Soooooooooooooooooooooooo terrible.

I have also say down and watched this movie with friends. A few times. It's pretty miserably funny. Have yet to see the sequel though.... Which is a real thing, by the way.

And Hot Shots 2 is meant to be like that, so for me it is just plain awesome as opposed to bad-awesome.

I know hotshots is supposed to be terrible but there are other films that do the deliberately bad genre badly, not that they fail at being bad they just end up being bad. Eg meet the spartans was just aweful (not in a good way) along with the latter scary movies

Terrible acting, terrible story, but I will be damned that it isn't one of the funniest things I had watched in quite a while. Entertaining in its own little way.

Oh you should have seen it when Adult Swim aired it. You know all those completely gratuitous and idiotic sex scenes? They decided they needed to be censored. Only, instead of you know...cutting them out or something....they decided the best course of action was to use big black censor bars. And by that, I don't mean these. I mean THIS


I swear, at times the only part of the screen that wasn't censored was the upper left corner, maybe a few centimeters wide. Which was absolutely hilarious once I realized that my television wasn't on the fritz.

That is actually quite funny. I did find the sex scenes a little tiresome, but it was a complete waste of time censoring it like that. I also thought it was strange how much they liked to "Toss the football around" that seemed to be their answer to everything.


The funniest is when Mark pushes Johnny. It is the wussiest push ever yet he still falls over like a house of cards.

Oh come on! Hot Shot Part Deux is such a classic comedy film before the likes of Scary Movie ruin slap stick comedy films!

It's a parody, and in my opinion, one of the better ones (definitely better than any parody made after 1995).

I second this motion, I think the OP thought they were serious movies. I'd love to show him the Naked Gun trilogy and Airplane.

Personally the greatest worst film I've ever seen was a Jean Claude Van Damme movie... Dubbed into Spanish with no subtitles. And I don't speak Spanish, so it was absolute gibberish the whole way through the insane plot.

Now, this wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if I was watching one of the more straightforward movies like Universal soldier or Legionnaire, but I was watching THIS ONE:


I only found this Nostalgia Critic review episode later, I went into that movie completely blind to it's content.

Anything by Ed Wood, because his films are so bad they're amazing. His work is probably the mst famous in the world of filmmaking flukes.

I forget, is ED Wood the guy who made Plan 9 From Outer Space? Because that film is amazing in how goddamn terrible it is

Yep. It's also the source of the "You Don't Say?" picture (even though he doesn't say "You don't say?" in the scene), Nicolas Cage Saying the Alphabet, and it's the film that he got so into that he actually ate multiple cockroaches for the scene in which he eats a cockroach.

Me and my friends used to watch a fair few. The absolute best was easily mega piranha. The trailer pretty much sums it up.If you're not laughing out loud at this trailer, You will never laugh

OT: I think any movie with giant animals seems to be pretty average. My nomination is Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus.

This bit is hilarious, especially the random "I'm getting married in two days" line.


Also, they used so many of the same animations. I don't know how many times the octopus lost all of its tentacles haha

hahaha Yeah, I laughed at the tiffany bit as well! I assume she is a porn star. In all the giant monsters movie there is always some chick with big tits and I guess that's her job in this movie.

I Missed Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus because I was away while my friends watched it! I was so disappointed! They told me about that part, it's just quality.

Nazis at the Center of the Earth. How do I sum this one up? About 1/3 of the way through, you will say to yourself through a popcorn-stuffed grin, "All this needs is Mecha-Hitler. Then it will be perfect." 2/3 of the way through, the film delivers Mecha-Hitler.

Zontar, The Thing From Venus. Title says it all. This is a knockoff of a movie so hilariously bad, Mystery Science Theatre 3000 did a parody of it. That's right: they parodied the original, and this isn't even as good as that.

Wild Wild West. Over-the-top slapstick action comedy in an utterly nonsensical steampunk/Western (Westpunk?) universe. It revels in its own absurdities, and so should we all.

Anything with words like "Megashark" or "Piranhadon" in the title.
