I did notice the lag in the transition from the PS1 to the PSP, but honestly, that wasn't a deal breaker for me. I think in general, with the improved translation and added aesthetics, the game is much more enjoyable for me on the PSP.Snotnarok said:Percutio said:The slow down was in the original about the same. I do think they could have tried to optimize it more, but at least the translations were better (still not great).Snotnarok said:Have you played the original? You might not have noticed the slowdown that's in every single skill that isn't a straight forward attack. It makes every move take 2x longer.Percutio said:I thought it was pretty good, even the online.Snotnarok said:Considering how piss poor the port was to the PSP I'm passing. I have no idea how people like that version. It was the worst port I played since Sonic "Genesis" on the GBA.
Also, this might be me being picky but the music was also 'damaged' instruments wouldn't fade out they'd just stop and whatever. I loved the sound track so I was really listening in.
I never had buggy sound at all.
The slowdown was not in the original, it was Square or whoever they hired doing a piss poor job. The music is hard to catch, easiest when you're setting up your team for battle, the gong just stops going rather than fading. Happens to other songs randomly.
That's true....but having growing up with this game it angers me to see such a piss-port. At this point I play it for the gameplay...well I mean I always did but I know the game in and out so Story I know already haha. But agh I spent money on it and was so upset.zeldagirl said:I did notice the lag in the transition from the PS1 to the PSP, but honestly, that wasn't a deal breaker for me. In general, I will say this though: Tactics is one of my favorite games EVER, so any talk of bringing it to a platform that will expand its audience makes me uber-happy!
Why, is there something wrong with it?Baneat said:And NOBODY has commented on the picture used in the first post?
