Everyone's welcome, but we are kinda a tight group, as in we are not rushing endgame, we work together on everything, even if it's three 50's running a new player through the first instances, we share materials for crafting, and we're all working together to save up for and level different crafts (to make all the furniture) for housing that's coming in December. (December is the community's best guess for the new patch, anyways.)

I just want to keep it so... friendly and happy and cozy, I guess are the right words.

I'm thinking I'll pick this up when I get my PS4 in a few weeks. I've been hearing good things, and I do love Final Fantasy more than I should. Honestly, I played FFXI and loved it for a long time. The only major problem there was the game was very unfriendly to solo play and Gil selling had pretty much fucked the economy.

Oh... crap. FF isn't available on the PS4 right away. >.> I just remembered. I don't know when it will be, either. Damn. BUT - I think PS3 users get the PS4 version for free.

When you were talking about the lengthy thread all I could think of is that one thread in the forum aka the 50 page "Why does my Catgirl has no butt anymore this is a gamebreaking Feature!".

To be honest I haven't had any teleporting bot problems but that might be because I ignore everything that has to do with crafting in most MMOs.
It is still fun but it has a lot of small problems which will maybe someday will resolved.

Malboro? I can remember that. Sure, I'll happily join you guys when I do. I've played FFXI, WoW, and TOR, and I'm pretty decent in all party roles (DPS, healing, tanking), so I shouldn't be a hindrance.

I was thinking about getting it on PS3, but after checking my checking account (stupid car insurance) I'm thinking I'll hold off on that sort of thing. Anyway, I look forward to joining. Especially since you guys seem to be a decent lot from the other posts, I read.

I'll give them credit, they went back and fixed a broken game, creating a solid new product that people would actually enjoy.

Of course, I'd have to take it right back because they still allowed it to be released in that shitty state in the first place and assumed that the FF name alone would carry it, which was inexcusable.

That's why the guy responsible for that train wreck no longer works at square from my understanding. Yoshi took the game over and rebuilt it from the ground up from the lore that was already created, and expanded the lore.

I bought that game, couldn't ever actually connect to their server, the customer service blew me off and just kept telling me to try again later over and over until my free month was up and I hadn't seen the inside of the game a single time.
Their customer service is atrociously bad, they didn't care one bit about actually helping me, every time I wrote them it took 2-3 business days (they don't do anything on weekends) for them to get back at me and then they would just give me a canned response and close the issue.
I don't blame them for an issue that obviously is only affecting me, but they didn't ask any questions or try to help me figure it out or anything. They just kept coming back with their "Try again later" line over and over until my game time ran out. What do they expect me to do? Subscribe to a game that doesn't work just so I can keep trying?!
