To be fair, a lot of the games not played belonged to bundles that were cheaper overall than just buying the games I wanted individually.

Honestly, I would have expected more hours. My account is 9 years old and was created back when Steam was just online DRM for Half Life 2. Possibly because I spent a lot of my gaming time back then in UT2004, I guess.

Yeah, some earlier games show as unplayed here too because it didn't record back in 2007. Anyway 46% unplayed 163 of 353, most of the backlog is sale stuff I didn't play yet or humble bundle extras I believe. 4,273.4 hours of gaming in the last whatever years(since 2008?) is pretty much okay considering the account is worth $4485.19 but most of that was bought on sales so I'd say it's about half that.

I sure as hell am glad I didn't actually pay full price for all these games. A lot of those games I got on sale. also I love how in hours spent Skyrim 437 then Terraria 91. Yeah, I've spent too much on sales and bought too many bundles. Some of the games have been gifts and some have been a part of a bundle and not been interesting to me. My most played game is Killing Floor with 229 hours.

Sad thing is I've played those games far more than that. Hell, Fallout 3, New Vegas, Oblivion and Skyrim probably adds 1600 hours to that number combined.

It also shows the full price for games that came from the Humble Indie Bundle. Half the games I own are from Humble Bundles and I certainly didn't pay as much as this is telling me I did.

Not entirely accurate. Again, the vast majority of these were bought during sales (never had a Steam gift sadly :-( Though I've given many). Also, I've completed many of those "Not Played", either pre-Steam off a disc, on a console or otherwise.

Still, considering it's a big hobby and my joint largest pastime (alongside reading), it's not a crazy amount of money, particularly over the years. I have disposable income and don't mind spending it on things I enjoy or find worthwhile. The best part is, that when I get a new PC, I can still play them (unlike console owners who will give Sony money for a PS4 and be unable to play their old games).

A bit of a shame I can't buy EA games on Steam any more; they've taken away my ability to give them money. Their loss.
